Floyd-Canelo is a stellar fight, but now is not the time for it

If they do it now and Canelo loses, he has enough time to win some fights and get a rematch in 2015.

You said the same **** before the Ghost fight, the fight did over a million buys, Floyd has reached legend status and people want to see him perform. If you don't like his fights, don't watch, but clearly there are a lot of people who disagree with you.

For the record, a few weeks ago I was getting blasted by *******s for saying Floyd being on the Final Four was a big deal and could help buys.

We are not getting enough big fights as boxing fans and we haven't for some 3-4 even 5 years, the fighters are too inactive and the deals cannot be made. If Floyd can do 154 for Canelo and he's happy to fight him then make the fight, while I do not condone Mayweathers opponent selection process I would fully understand if he didnt want to fight a guy who on the scales is a JrMW when he's actually a SMW!

Ring Magazine twitter has quotes from DeBlasio and Espinoza from Showtime. DeBlasio is more direct with a concrete statement that the fight sold more than 1 million. This is all in my earlier thread that you were commenting in. Now pretty well all boxing sites are reporting it.
