Floyd-Canelo is a stellar fight, but now is not the time for it

    except for the fact that floyd's getting older and Alvarez is getting heavier.

    Idc about ppv buys I like watching guys fight while they're hot in potential

    Yes those are factors, but Floyd didn't take any punishment here, so as far as ring age, he's not gonna be much older come 12 months, but the fight can be much bigger than in 6.

    Canelo fans changed their tune. After the Trout fight fight they were drooling over this match talking about how much of a beast Canelo is and how Floyd would duck. Now after seeing that Floyd still looks sharp they wanna wait it out til May in hopes of Floyd slowing down by then. Pussies :lol:

    I bet you were one of them saying "mark my words: CANELO WILL NEVER EVER FIGHT TROUT" only to have Canelo sign for it 10 days later. :lol:

    However there's more money on the table for both if their fight gets a little more build-up, what better way is fighting and maybe stopping Cotto? Makes no difference for Floyd or his form if he returns in instead of September.
