i agree if he was really broke he could make 3-4 million off any bum in an easy Bruseles-like fight. With the type of paydays Floyd can generate there is no way he is broke.

There are several credible reports out regarding his money woes. Im not happy that financial issues have fallen upon him. I dont wish that upon any man! Truth of the matter is though, he's taken an advance from GBP, and he does indeed owe the I.R.S. Now if he was so flushed with cash, why would he need an advance. Furthermore, why would he not pay his taxes, and let cars get repoed, and houses go into forclosure?

There is the possibility that Floyd after he retired in 2007 with alot of money decided to invest it in the stock market which went on to totally crash in 2008

which only made $ 30 million in revenue. If read correct Mayweather received 10 mil. He had to pay his debts with that 10 mil.

  9. And if Nicholas Cage was really that broke... he would just star in movies more often. Your logic doesn't hold water. Some people are just bad with their money.

  10. Maybe he figures he can make more money with his '0' intact.

How much did Floyd owe the IRS??? For us it was a alot, for him it was pocket change. What alot of you dont understand is that many people that have that kind of money arent in a hurry to pay the IRS. For a couple of reason. 1) they can make money that exceeds what they would have to pay in fees and fines. 2) They have it to pay so they dont get worried. 3) they try to work it out so they dont have to pay as much as the IRS claims that they owe.

Money is my business, And I understand the IRS better then most here. You know that someone is in trouble the the IRS when they place a lien on thier stuff, until that happens its all a matter of how much they will take.

For people to say that Mayweather is/was broke is dumb for the fact that he walked away from 25+ million in a rematch with Oscar at the time that he was having what you clowns would like to call trouble with the IRS...If he didnt have the money do you honestly think that he would have retired and not taken that fight???

Tyson was broke, and fought fights just to be able to pay the IRS.

  12. So Tyson's allowed to be broke, but Mayweather's not?

If he had the money he wouldnt need advances to pay the IRS now would he??

I dont think Mayweather is broke but if he needed a payday advance to pay bills hes certainly not as liquid as he claims.

You idiot Nicholas cage is on the slide.

His agent aint getting the money they use to get for him to be attached to a script.

Just look at Wesley Snipes. This guy was demanding 10 million during his stint as BLADE. Now he comes over to europe to shoot movies for cheap, im talking way under a million pounds. And i should know because i have camera assisted on a few of them.:deal

So it he doesnt have the money it makes sense to you that he would like to keep his unbeatten record over spending lets say 5 years in prison?? Your a moron. And clearly have very little understanding of the tax laws here. They take your ass to prison for none payment.
