It's an intentional remark on his part, hoping to get called on it, so he can say people are sensitive. It's just a trolling method.

 

I'm fine with using it occasionally, but in the Hatton fight the forearm/elbow was in Hattons face/throat every 20 seconds or so.

Floyd didn't need that **** to beat Hatton and Cortez had the old rose tinted specs on once again.

Said it before but if Dave Parris was the ref that night Hatton would have won DQ.

 

What I truly think is hilarious about this thread is that the overwhelming majority of posters in this thread seem to be bitter hatton fan's. A fighter notorious for holding and hitting, and a variety of other ACTUAL dirty tactics. As posted on page 5, what mayweather does isn't even against the rules.

 

Yeah its kind of funny Cortez is like two different refs on what is allowed and what not, Look at the May, Hatton fight and he wlmost had a heart attack when ever hatton got in close.. Then the Calzage - Hop fight he allowed all the wrestling hop wanted.. dont know if he just dont like brits or what but its kind of funny watching his beliefs on what should be allowed shift depending on who he likes.
