The thing that pisses me about Mayweather not making the weight is that he called GBP a couple of days prior to notify them he would not even attempt to make the weight.

If he was'nt going to even try to make the weight, why did he sign to fight at 144 lbs?????

Even more disrespectful is that Mayweather who is'nt a huge welter to begin with, likely could have made 144 lbs without much problem.

THis was a case here of a fighter with every physical advantage wanting to make certain that strenghth and power wise, the gap between them would be just as wide.
    Talk about insecurity!

Btw, Canelo got flak for coming overweight and the Hatton fight being sanctioned as a world title fight both.

JMM wasn't asked to move up 2 divisions...no deed to start lying:deal
He called out Floyd...he wanted the fight..and Floyd needed a TUNEUP:yep

Mayweather didn't even have to agree to 144 much less a penalty for going over.

JMM better be glad he was dealing with Floyd instead of Oscar:lol:

Hoya would have told him to go kick rocks..
