3 posters including myself had it 117-111 giving Cotto 6,8 and 9.

It all depends on what you look for in a fight and how you judge it, so that scorecard seems pretty solid.

i notice im the only one who gave Cotto round 5......that may have been the close round i was referring to.....i'll have to rewatch it....but i thought there was a moment where Cotto did win two str8 rounds against Floyd although one was a either way round...it may have been round 5.

Floyd 115-113, maybe even a draw. Im one of the few that is not influence scoring this fight thinking about a potential Manny/Floyd bout. Cotto did an amazing job and for the first time had Floyd fighting a fight he didnt seem comfortable many times. Floyds corner was in shock and very quiet. Everyone keeps on talking about Cotto's effort and will, but we have yet to hear anything from Floyd aside from the last round and the first few rounds which he won clearly. All the rounds in the middle were very close. Cotto pushing the action the most part and even being succesful when he had to box and making Floyd miss at times. I know why people have these ridiculous scorecards, but not how they came up with them. Cotto had the most success against Floyd since Castillo, but Cotto losing to those scorecards is as amazing when you even think when DLH lost a SD to Floyd.

I agree here. I'm beginnin to think the pac-may fight Could shaft people of justice in decisions just so they can make the fight whih they say will "save boxing" but destroy it along the way to getting it made

first time I had it 114-114, I know, a bit of a shock to some :yep

I rewatched the fight again today and saw it a bit differently, in other words, not staying up to 6 am to watch the fight, and scored it 116-112 for Floyd

That is exactly whats happening. No one at this moment is going to get a decision against Floyd and Manny. There is too much money to be made for that bout, that will generate millions and millions and even create thousands of jobs from the first day it becomes official.
