You're right. Totally right. Check out the superman punch. That's the hardest punch Floyd's ever thrown. Wonder why? Cause he knew Vic was defenseless. Floyd=Coward

    you guys are crazy . . . lol . . . this thread was a good laugh!

I was happy that Ortiz got this fight to begin with, I always liked him and saw great potential. I thought with the Berto win that he was starting to wipe away that meltdown at the hands of MM. He went in there and gave it the best that he could but was easily being outclassed by the best boxer in the biz, there is no shame in that. There is shame with the headbutt, that was one of the worst acts I have seen in the ring and is almost as bad as loading your gloves. He was frustrated because even the punches that people gave him credit for landing were glazing blows at best. Ortiz has to go back and regroup, fight a Berto or get revenge against MM. MM would be ideal because it would help smoother over this very poor episode and help rebuild some form of credibility.

Slugger as a fan of Vic you should focus on how he rebuilds his career instead of spewing hatred towards PBF

Slight exaggeration here. Since when do headbutts KO people? They happen all the time in boxing but most of the guys (Evander and Hopkins as examples) are just sneakier with them.
You're forgetting the elbows floyd was throwing at Ortiz and the one that smacked Ortiz in the jaw just before the headbutt.
    Now come on.

Glancing blows?? wtf. Did you miss the big right hand Vic landed that allowed him to get Floyd in the corner righ tbefore the headbutt? wtf fight were you watching?

Flex, you are the funniest guy on here . . . lol. i really do not think you watch the fight or if you did not watch the replays on the net. Even the first punch that was the best in the whole sequence did not make full contact and the rest were being deflected or missed all together. Ortiz got frustrated and tried to make contact anyway he knew how.

Why are you deflecting the argument away from what Vic DID . . . he DID the flying head butt, not PBF, not Cortez, not the Holyman, not Bhop. As for this phantom elbow you talk about I think that has been proven to be pure fiction on other threads.

I feel sorry for Vic, because its like one step forward and step step back. He was a kid with great potential but he found himself on the wrong end of two beat downs.

I've acknowledged the heatbutt several times. It was dirty as hell.
But i didn't realize Floyd was throwing elbows too and connected with one right before the headbutt.

even your own video does not show this mystery elbow just before the flying headbutt. I get a kick out of all these vids, if you showed any fighter in slow motion you will see violations, elbows, headbutts . . . etc. the question is why do these guys resort to editing? if you watch in real time or slow motion a lot "violations" are just a witch hunt.

The funniest video out there is of Hatton v pbf. Hatton is one of dirtiest players in the game but some fool took the time to just show the "infractions" by Money. Get over it Boxing is a rough sport . . . but that does not mean its right that one man intentionally uses his head as a weapon.

Vic ain't a Bad kid, he ****ed up! That is why he apologized so much, because I really think he realized what he did was beyond what any rational person would do. His regret led to his downfall, he let his guard down while PBF was all business. Time was in, Vic wanted to hug, PBF was pissed and wanted to fight. I guess we know who made the right decision.

The good thing for Vic is that he will get another big payday, he has made a name for himself and even non fans will be interested in his follow-up fight
