Floyd Cummings vs Jimmy Thunder

Ah, the match-up we have all been demanding to be discussed!

OK, I'm game. As much as I felt Jimmy was supremely limited, he gave it his all consistently and had a decent run in the mid-90's. Taking that version of Thunder, he decisions Jumbo.

 

How about Marciano versus Ali?

 

I'm going with Cummings by a KO Thunder was limited in the chin department and Cummings could hit.

 

After the Thunder rains down upon him, Jumbo would be speaking mumbo-jumbo.

Floyd is too stiff, too robotic and fights in one gear (and not a high gear). Too easy to hit. He makes Thunder look fluid and slick.

Jimmy gets through with a right hand early and Cummings is mumbling about jumbo shrimp cocktail for dinner.

I'll take Thunder to get a stoppage here in about 7 rounds.
Jumbo may start quickly and land a few hefty looking wallops but Thunder was better all round and weathers the storm
