Floyd + Dana + UFC + $200mil = Possibly Great News

    Hear me out for a second. If there is any truth to any of this, if Dana does have a huge announcement this week about the future of the UFC, about something that will change the UFC over the next 10 years, if he is paying Boxing's biggest star hundreds of millions and if Floyd Mayweather (the biggest ego-maniac alive) has indeed signed with the UFC, IT MEANS ONE THING......

    The UFC is going to start promoting boxing as well as MMA :deal And this would be absolutely huge for the sport and for Mayweather. Two reasons why MMA blew up: Casual fans are able to identify the "UFC brand" and become fans of the "UFC" and not necessarily specifice fighters that you only get to see twice a year and have to pay $50 like in boxing, and also the best fighters HAVE TO fight the best fighters. this is what the sport of boxing needs and this very well may be right around the corner :good

    I mean like, yes. The UFC will have boxers under them as well as MMA fighters :deal

    If true? Floyds a SELLOUT of cataclysmic proportion. The UFC doesnt give two shits about boxing:nono All it would be is a ploy that over time showcases UFC over Boxing eventually hoping to supplant or eliminate our sport.

    I dont mind the UFC or its athletes, i used to watch and enjoy it a bit. But the WAR between UFC and Boxing is sadly ridiculous. I stopped supporting UFC and guys like White and Joe Rogaine make my skin crawl:-(

    They are 2 diffrent sports and Boxing's been around over 100+years. It is ENGRAINED in our history and always has a special place in sports.

    I wont drink Dana Whites Koolaid and DONT GO TO JONESTOWN:good

    the ufc dosn't have 200 million to give to floyd ...you floyd boys are funny lmao ...kinda like floyd making 20 mil to fight big show

    I personally think floyd in the UFC will never happen. i bet there are a a few people on this forum who could take floyd in a UFC fight, or at least give him a run for his money. and i dont fink dana is prepared to pay him a couple of million to fight som1 with a shifty 15-4 record.

    Actually no. Dana has a 2 fold reason for signing floyd (if he does it). 1 would be to get a one time big ass payday as it wouyld break all records for buys. The other is for floyd to get his ass kicked so he can go on and on about how UFC guys are better and tougher.

    Can't see it really.Floyd has really bad hands,they kill him with boxing gloves on,can't imagine what would happen to them with the little mma gloves.He may sign on as a commentator or something but I would be suprised to see him fight.Besides his hands,he hates to get hit and don't like roughen it up much.MMA is not for him.

    Dana doesn't like floyd and a reliable source and friend of dana has said that he denied the rumor on a certain mma website.

    to be honest id like it if UFC started a boxing line... just so the ignorant fan base could start respecting it when its packaged for them like they need it to be (so many people like mma because its the 'in' thing, maybe that could work for UFC boxing too)

    but that probably wouldnt happen and im dreaming...
