And if it was based on accomplishments he still would have won it.
    Big deal.

The only indisputable fact is that if mayweather does it, you'll defend it.

You are nallege/jacory/samski/leon/toopretty type posters on this forum.
You side with whatever ****** you fall in love with.

That comparison doesn't quite work, though. IMO, the reason Floyd took less of the purse against Oscar, was because this was his "coming out party". Say what you will, but Floyd wasn't really on the casual sports fans radar until after that fight.

He knew, that this would be the "passing of the torch", the fight that would put him on the map in the public conciousness. In short, he needed Oscar alot more than Oscar needed him.

Does he need Pac more than Pac needs him? I'm not sure..but it's an interesting question I think.

How can anyone honestly say that they dont see him asking for 60-40 on top of the already extreamly fragile negotations as a bad thing?

Most heavily promoted fight in history did 1.5m???? and it involved one of the biggest names in the sport + mayweather.

He is not the draw you guys wish he was. You're taking that Oscar/Floyd PPV number and using it for every fight he would ever be in.

Yeah, you just saddle up next to your girlfriend on every issue.
That's perfect. I would never expect a logical analysis of something involving mayweather with you.

Well it's clear the Mayweathers are very upset about Pacquiao attaining all the accolades recently. Seems the best way to end all this is to have a fight between the two.

A 60/40 split for Floyd could mean $60 million for Floyd and $40 million for Pac. Anyone who is not a nuthhugger knows exactly who is pricing himself out. :deal The general public, nevermind boxing fans, knows exactly who's the one pricing himself out.

    I agree with this.

But considering mayweather supposedly made 40 mil from his last fight against an old mosley, it pretty clear that he doesn't need pac to make that money again.

Now remember that the reason why mayweather could make that sort of money was because mosley took such a small purse, i think mosley made 7 million for the fight.

A fight with Williams, Martinez or cotto at 154, could draw 1million ppv buys in my opinion.

Yup, as I said earlier, Pimp C is solid on all subjects but turns into an immature ***** when it comes to discussing Floyd.

Some of these nuthuggers could do with taking a break from this place. This Pac-Floyd flame war has taken it's toll on them and they no longer know who to trust and see people lurking in the shadows with every post. It's been quite sad to see otherwise good posters degrade themselves over this, ultimately, frivolous subject.
