Yea, that's the mark of a great con man. Selling snake oil at a high price. But when it comes to actual boxing accomplishment, he's nowhere near Manny. So it's not the end of discussion.
Floyd has always, at least since moving beyond 135 in 2002, taken the easier road. I'm not saying everyone he's fought has been complete bums, but he's never, not once since going to 140, fought THE guy everyone wanted to see him fight. He's always taken the 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 10th toughest challenge out there. He can do it because his marks (I mean fans) have been so properly conned that he'll still make a ton of money without taking a risk. That's why he's coming up with one delay tactic after another in these negotiations. Floyd is a good business/conman, and that's why this fight won't come off. Manny has accomplished more in this sport and shouldn't budge either. Plus recent history proves that Floyd ultimately won't make the fight. He never does when it comes to a truly tough challenge.

No problem Homie

Mayweather just did 1.4 million with Mosley which is the second highest non HW total of all time. Pac has never reached this number.

Plus when you look at their numbers against common opponents, Pac always comes up short.

Mayweather-DLH=2.4mil (PPV record)
Pacquiao-DLH= only 1.25mill

Mayweather Hatton=925,000
Pacquiao-Hatton=850,000

Mayweather Marquez-1.1million
Pacquiao Marquez-400,000

In the last few years, Mayweather has clearly established himself as a PPV king, and he has embarrasingly outsold Pac versus common opponents. Fact!

floyd: "if he's clean, he should take the test"
floydettes: "pacquiao should the test"

floyd: "60-40 for me"
floydettes: "pacquiao deserves 40"

floyd: i will suck pacquiao's dick before the fight...or else no fight
floydettes: yeah pacquiao should allow floyd to suck his dick

Like I said - spud by nature...

Try turning the data, which you seem so happy to conceptualise with, into meaningful information that you can use to support your argument, spud.

were not having a negotiation to see who is the best fighter of all time or who has a tougher resume.... they are having negotiations to see who deserves more $$

this article PROVES mayweather deserves more money.... and pacquiao and arum won't accept that... all this non sense you are talkigna bout is irrelevant....

*****sexuals remind me of Stormtroopers in the film Star Wars. Particularly when Obi-Wan and Luke are heading to the spaceport at Mos Eisley?

Stormtrooper: Let me see your identification.

Obi-Wan: [with a small wave of his hand] You don't need to see his identification.

Stormtrooper: We don't need to see his identification.

Obi-Wan: These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Stormtrooper: These aren't the droids we're looking for.

Obi-Wan: He can go about his business.

Stormtrooper: You can go about your business.

Obi-Wan: Move along.

Stormtrooper: Move along... move along.

Obi-Wan: [to Luke] The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.

Now imagine a film parody called Duck Wars with the protagonists Void Duckfeather and Obi-Nard Wannarbee being plagued by their fans – They have to use ‘The Fleece’

*****sexual: Let me see your legacy.

Obi-Nard: [with a small wave of his hand] You don't need to see his legacy.

*****sexual: We don't need to see his legacy.

Obi-Nard: These aren't the fights you're looking for.

*****sexual: These aren't the fights we're looking for.

Obi-Nard: He can go about fleecing his fan base.

*****sexual: You can go about fleecing your fan base.

Obi-Nard: Love you (kiss kiss).

*****sexual: Love you... love you (kiss kiss).

Obi-Nard: [to Void] ‘The Fleece’ can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.

This has to be taken into context though.
Pac Delahoya was seen as a farce of a fight. No surprise less people paid for it.
Mayweather Marquez had a 24/7, of course its gonna have more buys than Pac Marquez, which had FAR less marketing.
The farest comparison is against Hatton, where the numbers are MUCH closer.
Not im not saying that Mayweather wouldnt sell more than Pacquiao anyway, but the numbers would be much closer if everything was on even ground

All those things matter in negotiations. Its more complex than you think. Or else purses would be so easy to split. You have to assess what one fighter has to gain, what one has to lose, what his position is relative to his opponent, who has the advantage.

All those things also come into play.

It should be 50 -50 and im neutral on this fight, Mayweather is a greedy ******* lets be honest he doent really need the money but could cement his legacy if he wins as one of the best ever boxers. Pac deserves his 50%

If everything else were equal, then 60-40 to 50-50 might be (MIGHT BE) a legitimate request for Floyd, but Manny has already acquiesced on so many things that at this point is should be 50-50 on the money. If Floyd now demands 50-50, just based on numbers, then he should give up some of the things Manny has already conceded that had nothing to do with PPV buys. That's called negotiation. But Floyd aint' gonna do that because Floyd always finds a way out of the tough fights.
