All these talks of percentages are pretty meaningless. Rarely are these big fights split up with an across the board percentage. Last time they were both set to receive a $25M guarentee. There's a good chance that Mayweather will probably get a couple more million and Pac a couple million less from that pot. Mayweather will probably receive a few extra percentage points on the domestic PPV sales as well. In the end, a few million dollars won't derail a fight that will generate around $200M.

    Flombies.....lol.
You guys are very simpleminded arent you.
Comparing numbers alone doesnt tell you much of anything. Context has to be taken into account. Like the fact that almost everyone thought Oscar Pac was a ****ing farce of a fight and was shaming Oscar for fighting such a small man.
"But...but....but... men lie, women lie, numbers dont lie!"

thats where you got it wrong, greatness is based on skill and accomplishments and opponents beaten

being the bigger draw is the fighter who sells more ppvs, boxing is a business and its simple

The Floyd fans have forgotten how much Manny has already conceded in these negotiations on matters that had nothing to do with PPV buys. If Floyd, now at this point, wants to add 60-40 on top of everything else, then he needs to give up some of the things he's already won in negotiation. He's gotten everything he's tried to use at this point to get out of the fight, so if he now wants more money too, then give up the other stuff. There's nothing unfair about that, he still gets his bigger slice of the pie based on his PPV numbers, so the way I see the onus is still on Floyd to get this done. Of course recent history tells us he won't, because he never does when it comes to a truly tough challenge (Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Tszyu, Harris, Mosley 5 years ago and there's always a couple I forget)

but you dont base ppv sales on factors such as people thinking the fight was a farce because at the end of the day it happened otherwise that is just making an excuse for the fights bad sales

you can only judge a fighters ppv sales of his last fight, just the same as you base his current condition i.e. to determine how far in his prime or how shot he is

by doing this you find out how much of the draw they are. in this case floyd is bigger than pac times 2 because of the 700,000 ppv pac did against the 1.4 million that floyd did

therefore 6o percent is a kick in floyds teeth
