Good. But you know if this fight falls part again because of another obstacle Floyd has created the reaction to him will be bad. Personally I think the fight will happen, but people really need to get over this Hip Hop gangsta bull****. It's like some of Floyd's fans (and perhaps he himself) think he's getting "dissed" if he doesn't get the bigger split.

All this **** is having a bad effect on boxing in general. You got Paul Williams not fighting Pavlik because he thinks he's a "draw" now. You got Timothy Bradley and Amir Khan thinking a fight not being big enough is a legitimate excuse for not fighting Maidana and Alexander.

This crazy **** needs to stop, fans need to be demanding the best fight the best at all times. The TV companies need to start vetoing fights if they're not up to scratch. If Pac-May doesn't happen next I hope HBO refuse to show both of their next fights. It's time to get tough with this and demand the best quality for us, before our sport is marginalised.

If floyd refuses to come back from 60-40 to 50-50 to take on the fighter of the decade and current p4p champ, then he is ducking.

No other way to look at it.

The Mayweathers have practically been crying about Pacquiao being named fighter of the decade. If Pac's so ****, why not just give him 50/50 and prove to the world how superior he is. I don't believe any of them are as confident as they pretend.

if arum wasnt promoting pac he would have agreed to the 60- 40 split, bob arum is the greediest **** in boxing even more so than don king. he takes 37% of pacmans purse every time he fights

Who can floyd even come close to making as near as much money as?

If floyd doesn't take the fight, in 20 years who do you think will be in higher regard?
Pac already took the decade right out from under floyd. He has him beat ATG too.

When will people realize that fighter of the decade means nothing when talking about who the draw is? How many times does it have to be said:patsch PBF was P4P #1 when he fought Oscar but realized Oscar was the top draw and took less money accordingly. It can't be any more clear cut than that. You *******s are borderline ******ed and refuse to listen to sound logic. PBF is the bigger draw than Pac is and thus deserves the bigger share of the purse that's the way the game works period.

you say all of this but boxing is a business, the boxer s self employed at the end of the day and he is going to maximise his earning potential jus like every other fighter and businessman

If pac really wants this fight he should agree to 55-45 if this means making the fight happen for the fans. Because the last time i checked Pac said he doesn't fight for money he fights for the fans, while floyd is all about money which is why i find it funny how people act surprised by his high purse demands.

If pac truly fights for the fans then he will take a 55-45 split in floyd's favour.

All roads lead through PBF. He's the biggest draw in boxing and people who fight him get record paydays.(Hatton, JMM, Oscar and Mosley) PBF could fight Martinez next and still make 20 mil +. Pac isn't going to get close to that money fighting anyone other than PBF.:deal

Okay, but if the fight falls apart completely how is that "maximising his earning potential"? No other fight gives him anywhere near as much money as 50% of Pac-May. No, no - fighters are getting greedy now, and I'm afraid to say Floyd has contributed to this problem. It's like it's become an unacceptable excuse to avoid certain people because they don't bring enough money or "G's". These superfights bring more money than most people will see in a lifetime, we support it so they should give us something back. Make the damn fights.

I would hope floyd doesn't back down from 60-40 and the fight doesn't happen so floyd will be left as a big what if.

He'll retire as a joke for ducking the former flyweight champion.
