    The guy chose to stand in the center of the ring and use both offensive and defensive skills. At many points in the fight he was backing up Shane. I don't know if Shane aged overnight, occasion got to him or Floyd style simply made him too tense in the ring that caused his stamina to look like crap but aside from the big punch, Floyd OUTCLASSED him.

    Not only did Floyd win by UD, he did it in a way most people thought he couldn't, maybe for his own ego or to please the fans, he stood his ground and pushed a very dangerous Shane Mosley back.

    I had Pac as favourite before, now Im dead 50-50 on this. I rate both guys very highly, league of their own. They make elite fighters look like they dont even belong in the same ring as them.

    In the past Floyd talked smack but he didnt really back it up the way he said he would, last night he did, Floyd can talk as much trash as he can as of now and I'll still be a fan, he backs it up. When you talk that much trash, thats a lot of pressure to back it up and he did.

    Pac-Mayweather will happen. There's no other logical choice. The fight just got bigger.

    I despise the man but I'll give credit where it is due. He fought a fight the fans wanted and did it with style. He has regained a lot of lost respect. I'll always hate FMJ the person, but I am starting to like the FMJ the boxer again.

    When i saw Ali sit down. I knew we were gonna witness a special performance.

    Mayweather talks a lot of trash but even him must have appreciated the legend in attendance and wanted to put on a clinic.

    Floyd is fantastic. He is a pure boxer who looks so damn slick it makes our sport shine. I liked the colours he wore last night.

    Floyd blew me away last night. I never thought I would see Mayweather walking Mosley down. That was as shocking to me as watching Pac walk DLH down. These two dudes just do not get hurt and I was thinking Mosley was gonna get ktfo last night. Wow. Mayweather made a believer out of me. The joyboys still suck balls though, but Mayweather's ****en great.

    I'm a big time Mayweather guy. The guy is an amazing. However, his bark has been louder than his bite as of lately. He said he was going to press the action, and I didn't believe him. He did what he said he was going to do and pressed for the knockout. The Gatti fight is the last time he really backed up what he said he was going to do;

    I'm a Floyd fan, and I gotta give you big props. Most people hate the guy and deny his talents, but you give credit to his skills, while still disliking the person. I can respect that!!!:good

    Good post Dangerosity. Floyd showed a lot of quialities. He seemed pretty tense before leaving the dressing room, trying to make Shane wait but they started his music and forced him out earlier than he wanted. Floyd definitely looked like he knew he was in for the fight of his life and that he might get knocked out. Floyd overcame it with a very good performance, he answered a lot of questions hsi critics had. He overcame big adversity in rd 2 and made Shane look 38.

    But bottom line is Shane is 38 and you cannot name any welter (or lighter wt champ) in history who was still great at 38. Look at Sugar Ray Leonard, he was a shell of a shell in his late 30s. Mosley looked his age. Floyd got the job done.

    We must see Floyd take on Pacquiao, he says he wants to give the fans what they want by pressing the action. now he has to give the fans the fight they have been demanding for a year. If he ducks, it will overshadow all his achievements. If he ducks it =s COWARD

    Fantastic performance by Floyd. He wasn't just counterpunching. He showed his aggressiveness and found openings without waiting for Shane to miss.

    He certainly did back up what he was running his mouth about.
    Anyone has to be greatly impressed with him, like him or not.

    Great thread from you Dangerousity. Usually, I see you as a Pac fan but tonight you heaped praise on Mayweather. Respect to that.

    He always becks it up and theres nothin wrong we talk if u can bak it up. He makes great fighters look average. And he stod wit shane while people thought that wud favor shane, instead of movin all nite.
