Most of mma fighters are hooked on street drugs and are on steroids. The boxers who do find themselves on that path of abusing themselves through drugs end up down the bottom because there is a fine line between winning and losing in boxing. Fighters in MMA can abuse their bodies until their heart's content and still be champions because there is not much in it. The size and brutality on the night will make up for the lack of skill, mental strength and technicality.

This wasn't a contest to prove which sport is more effective in a street fight. If it had been a test of that sort, then you would need to place a boxer against a no holds barred opponent who attempts to kick him in the groin, take him to the ground and choke him out, kick him in the head, elbow smash his face or even bite him. Given a choice any sane person would rather be MMA trained than just be a boxer in that situation.
I Totally agree, the persons behaving in such bestial ways definitely deserve criticism. However, I don't see any justification for devaluing the martial art itself based on their personal flaws. In short, grappling, wrestling, and kicking skills remain a legitimate part of martial arts regardless of the practitioner's personality. Condemning the art itself as garbage just because some bozos claim them, in fact, would be similar to condemning a whole religion based on the behavior of hypocrites who enthusiastically claim to follow it.
