OK. I don't like the guy. But I will say something. The one thing that makes Floyd Mayweather Jr. different to the other fighters of this era is very simple. HIS TRAINING!!! No other guy trains the way Floyd does. Floyd didn't train for a fight. Training was his way of life. Hopefully still is.

Coming from David Diaz and a weight drained fighter.

I'll ask you again, because if I see video evidence of Manny having extra-ordinary hand speed against a fighter other than Diaz and Oscar, I will happily agree with you. I'm giving you the opportunity here.

Floyd isn't the fastest no but some fighters like Oscar shoe shine which isn't real punches so there easy to throw quick, and others like Judah throw fast but dont look at what their doing.

Floyd thinks about his shots and times/picks them, throws meaningful shots that land flush more than these fighters. Floyd also throws his shots very compact, so Judah maybe faster but half the time you can tell what hes going to do because he telegraphs so speed when you know its coming is pointless

Floyd also relaxes and doesn't burn out, when you throw too quick or put too much power you get punched out and tired quicker, Judah does this allot

Would you describe Manny Pacquiao as a "shoe shiner"?

I get it, this is a joke right. Like when he glided his way to a defeat against Tito. Floyd sat down on his punches more at WW.He had a different approach because of the weight that added a little more pop. DLH looked robotic compared to Floyd when it came to moving around the ring.

Floyd is a much better ring general then Oscar ever was. We saw what happened when Oscar wanted to dance, he got tagged. Floyd land 10 punches a round and win because his opponents only land 5.

He has extremly fast hands for one shot. He is not all that fast as a combination puncher though

Mayweather speed is outta control. at 130 it was faster then anybodys I've ever seen. even faster then Roys. even at 147 he would be the fastest, Mosley right behind him but not.

Watching him now no he doesn't have blazing hand speed but still very fast hands. At 130 pounds though he did have blazing fast hand speed, the fastest in that division since prime Camacho. He was never faster than Mosley, Roy Jones, or Meldrick Taylor but he was faster than De La Hoya.

So you've never seen the first round of Pac - Marquez I?

I'll grant that Manny doesn't have jaw dropping combination speed, but he gets the straight left from point A to point B about as fast as any other fighter has thrown their best punch over the past decade.
