The fact that Floyd felt the need to fake a rib injury to get the fight moved to mexican independence day (a massive day for mexican boxing) says alot doesn't it?
I was referring to the lower PPV buys of PAC-Hatton and PAC-DLH as compared to PBF-Hatton and PBF-DLH... PAC-Hatton sold out quickly... .
We can split hairs all day, I know you're a huge Floyd fan, but can you not see how Floyd's behaviour is a real turn off for people? Will you not admit he's just being a little bit unreasonable? I respect his ability but, to be honest, if he's going to continue to behave in this manner I wish he'd just permanently retire. He wants to be considered on the same level as Ray Leonard. Leonard fought Hagler for his come back, Floyd's fighting Marquez. Need I say more? Pac's captured people's imaginations, Floyd's been retired for nearly two years. Right now, Floyd is a mere distraction and obstacle to fights being made.
This has nothing to do with anything. FLoyd-Jmm has yet to sell out. Pac-Hatton didn't sell out till the week of the fight and look at its success. Im not saying Marquez-PBF will do those numbers. But to talk **** about a fight 2 months away on ticket sales is
Now you're just being belligerent. It's well documented the tickets sold quickly, if not completely sold out.
You forgot that the original fight schedule should have been this weekend... Floyd bought more time by fabricating a "rib injury"... What do you think of Floyd (boxing's cash cow), can't sell tickets by himself?? .
Seems to me you're clinging onto one small part of the debate in order to validate your spurious claim that Floyd is the bigger draw here.
No. Im talking about the ticket sales. I can validate Floyd is the bigger draw in a lot of other ways.
Floyd has consistently sold more then Pac over his career. How isnt Floyd the bigger draw? Because you say so?
