This is a very good point and one that Floyd is going to learn himself. If you listen to his most latest interview he does acknowlege the need to have an opponent that has a huge following to boost his numbers, so it will be interesting to see where he goes after this fight if he wins it. I cant see this fight doing big numbers, Mayweather is really hard to listen to. Typical arrogant immature kid that doesnt realize what money has turned him into, an *******.
I agree with the 55% split. If Mayweather can get past Marquez(which imo he will) that will only cement his status and the higher draw. Especially since PAC got so XBOX HUGE because of his last two fights, which were, Floyd's leftovers.
i believe whites are still the majority. you gona have to wait till 2042 for that to happen. http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5jTtkmoZLMEokQ7AZyn0IOLDyqHgg i think 50/50 is more than fair.
wouldn't surprise me if floyd ended up signing because he got 50.01 percent of the fight signed. Just a way to leave his pissmark.
Im only interested in the fights, not how they are made/not made. Its just a load of stress over nothing, if the fight happens, I`ll be over the moon & will not miss it.... if it doesnt, **** it, it wont be the 1st time Ive been let down by fighters. Botswana :smoke
Floyd is giong to sign for what ever the **** Arum offers him. He's trying to bluf when his cards are face up showing seven duece.
The answer is simple...if Mayweather and Pac both think they will win then they each take home 35% splits and then the remaining 30% goes to the winner after the fight. That deal would sort the men from the boys
Another suggestion: Give PAC and PBF equal share of 49.99 % initially then the remaining 0.02 % goes to the winner... .
i can tell u that when pacman last fought against hatton there was double the amount of people than what i had seen at a venue for quite some time. and it was by far the biggest crowd i'd ever see at a venue. there were shitloads of people that had to stand up as the place was packed. it was partly because of hatton as well as pacman, but the crowd was going bonkers when hatton was ko'd. given that these people would have talked the ears off anyone that would listen in the days following the fight, i can only imagine how many people will be at pacmans next fights. and even if it is against mayweather, i can guarantee the majority will be there for pacman, not floyd.
no i believe u r wrong. they will be there to see pacman win. thats what floyd and his fan club r underestimating. i believe that most of the people had not gone to watch pacmans fight with hatton because they were anti-hatton. they were just pro-spectacle and believed it was a huge matchup on paper. the majority of people just want to see a fight with the really big names and that r very hard to split on ability. i think u have to acknowledge the massive wave that has picked up pacmans stocks in his last couple of fights. and it is still growing.
Pac needs a strong B. So does Floyd. But Floyd is better than pac when it comes to sales. People want to see him cash the check and others to see him lose. If Floyd-Pac happened. It has the potential to break DLH-Floyd.
