Floyd was past his prime and fighting against way bigger man.

haters keep saying Canelo was green,i think it's lame excuse.or was drained.why they keep ignoring floyd was way past his prime and was outweighted by about 20pounds.

i think in couple of years, this will be remembered as floyd's signature win.

i'm open to criticism, but thanks be polite.

before the fight was signed, everybody was screaming this match.saying floyd is ducking Canelo etc..after the fight Canelo become too green etc..

    haters can't never be satisfied?

Yea Canelo is a true beast and only a great fighter can make Canelo look like that. Canelo is gonna dominate for years to come.

    1. 152 Dranelo from boxing guy
    2. Pedjr blah blah blah from progamer guy
    2. Void is void from the farmer
    3. Sprinkle in a little Pac, Duckweather, and scared talk

I'll never be mistaken for Floyds biggest fan but I give him some credit for the Canelo win as Canelo is a good fighter and he is legitimately a naturally bigger guy than Floyd. He neutralised everything Canelo tried to do and convincingly won.

He made the target for himself with the weight thing after giving Pacquiao ridicule over the same issue in the past but the thing is, I doubt he needed to make Canelo down to 152 to win. It made a decent win look bad for a lot of people and gave Canelo and his team an excuse after the fact.

    1. Canelo asked for 150
    2. Pacquiao vs Cotto was 145.

*******s argue that Cotto was 146 before that fight

Yeah? And Canelo was 153 before that vs Cotto

    3. It could potentially be an ATG level win.

    Crazy win.

It's a fine win, but I don't think it will be his signature.

The 152 catchweight is unfortunate, seems like he would have beaten Saul at any weight.

It's probably a little cliche, but you could argue that the Genero Hernandez win is his signature. It was early in his career vs an experienced very good fighter in Hernandez.

Its just the way it is when you are the A side. It is true that Canelo does not have much of a brains trust behind him. It is true that styles make fights good or bad. Floyd reaches into his big bag of tricks and pulls out a style that trumps the other fighters style:deal

The only way Canelo was green, was perhaps in a big occasion kind of way. Stepping into the ring with an undefeated genius fighter aint something that happens every time you jump through them ropes, and Canello found that out

Mayweather fans cannot dismiss the 152 catchweight, especially after all the **** they said about pac when he beat cotto at 145.

so your saying canello will be an ATG??:huh

Canello is big and strong, but limited in his go forward attack. Floyd capitalised on that one aspect and made easy work of it. I dont want to be seen to be putting Canello down too much, just that Floyd is that much better and experienced on the big stage. The guy has skills!!:hey

You're right.. Floyd could have done that.. The fact that he stood in front of him, sometimes with his hands by his side, from the opening bell make it that much better...

Just the way it is for floyd lol completely agree with the OP. No matter who floyd fights the critics will not stop hatin. Even if he fought and beat pac it'd be pac was in his prime 09/2010 floyd ducked that version etc.. they tend to forget floyds been fighting bigger guys for years now and he was probably a better fighter in those lower weights but can still manage to beat these guys with ease.

floyd did exactly what i knew he would do to canelo. hard to get overly excited for something i expected to happen.
