Floyd beating Canelo is a great win actually, but the way he won?

Canelo did not even try to win and it wasn't some high-class boxing clinic (atleast in my eyes) that Floyd put on.. :-(

Mayweather isn't getting credit whoever he beats. Even if he beat Pacquiao in 2010 he wasn't going to get credit, let's be real here. I remember a rumor floating around in 2012 of Mayweather possibly fighting Martinez at 160 and still people found ways to criticize that as well.

Mayweather's 6 fight deal with showtime makes me think his fights may be scripted and with the ''all access'' episodes... he has the power to edit some of it.

Like i said its like watching wwe with all his acting etc, he will have the upper hand in his last few fights with showtime until he retires.

    - Las Vegas.
    - Judges.

ah well, with mayweather fights... he is his own boss and he can dictate things. He also says his team picks his opponents for him.

He may fight ''champions'' but NO THREAT what so ever. Tailor made for him.
Also Alvarez @ 152, he was clearly weight drained and then his fight after that against angulo he couldn't even make 154 and made Angulo sign a new contract for the weigh in to be @ 155.

Mayweather just playing his fans :deal

    ^This guy...

Whenever Canelo got too aggressive, he paid for it. Sharp, quick counters every time. Not to mention, missing on the combinations that he threw. Same old story, Floyd wasn't there to be hit.

What fight were you watching, exactly?

yet he was still a 3-1 or 4-1 favorite
lets give him credit for doing something he was supposed to do

Canelo was drained at 152. He looked like a skelton at the weigh in.

He couldn't even make the 154 limit in his next fight. Its a great win but Canelo wasn't at his best.

floyd would be favorite even against GGG and Martinez.do you happen to know bookies sets the odds so that the money is even to both sides?

even if floyd would fight against Stevenson or Kovalev,Floyd could be slight favourite.humans tend to play so called "favourite" because they think it's safer bet.

there are recent examples like Price vs Thompson II where Price was still heavy favourite, but was far from favourite.most betters lose money in longterm.it's not indicator who is the better fighter.

man who haven't lost in 17years is usually the betting favourite, you would say this same mantra if Floyd beat Kovalev.saying he was 2-1 favorite, let's give him credit for doing something he supposed to do.

it's only testament for Floyd skill level, that even past his prime version was favourite against young and big great fighter Canelo.

i'm going that far and saying that even against Wladimir,Floyd would be only small underdog.you know and everybody knows that many people would place their money for Floyd.and yes i know it would be ****** to place money for Floyd.but it is what it is.

and when you have seen Usain Bolt underdog to win 100metres race?let's not give him credit for doing something he supposed to do.but the fact remains Usain Bolt is best, favourite or not.

this betting favourite card Iceman71 starts to get old,you should find something new?

the catchweight was weak but canelo won his title at a catchweight so whats the problem? Mayweather's performance against a fighter like canelo deserves praise
