Rematch? He should be banned from the sport immediately and permanently with all his previous fights being investigated. Even if the US boxing system ignores this scandal and destroys what's left of it's already poor reputation, who'd give rematch to a cheater anyway.

Do you really think they'd come up with something that damning to sell the Pac rematch? :blood

I fully expect them to want to take the $100+ millions for the fight, but certainly not by being the next American star to be exposed.

I did consider this for a moment. But I just can't see Mayweather tarnishing his name just for a rematch. Also what would be different in the rematch, he would still have USADA in his pocket, people would still doubt the result if he wins because of previous perceived cheating.

What I don't get, and help me out. How is it that everyone is saying that Mayweather has USADA in his pocket, when it is USADA who is reporting the IV violation. Can you clarify that one for me.

Want to provide me a link confirming it's USADA that are reporting this violation? It's not mentioned on their website, this all stems from a story by Thomas Hauser if I'm not mistaken and he doesn't cite a source.

ESPN' Dan Rafael reported that the USADA reported they sent a collection agent to his home following the weigh-in and that the collection agent notice signs of IV marks.
