Why do so many uneducated fans say that Floyd "ducked" a prime Mosley and Oscar? A quick look at The Ring Annual Ratings on Boxrec shows that prime Mosley and Oscar were already at 147 when Floyd was starting out at 130. How can Floyd "duck" fighters who are 17 pounds heavier than him? Do you expect Floyd to jump up 3 weight classes to fight Mosley and Oscar?

I just don't understand why boxing fans say such stupid nonsense instead of doing a modicum of research.

Fighters who throw one big punch at a time hoping to knock their opponent out will NEVER beat Floyd.

The word ducked gets thrown around so easy I doubt people can even define its true meaning anymore.

that said Floyd did do a lot of cherrypicking its not even debatable.

Floyd was a champ at 130 at the same time Mosley was a champ at 135 it wasnt for long but that did happen so get your facts straight as for the ducking im not going into that cause i dont care and every fighter in history has some guys that for some reason or circumstances are missing from their resume. At the end of the day you cant fight everybody and in this case he still fought the two of them later on.

He wasn't established enough to get a fight with either one when they were in their prime.

I've also heard someone say that Floyd has never been down by 6 rounds in a fight, and needed a KO to win. I've even heard someone say that Floyd was never in a fight where he was the underdog.

Floyd might be the only fighter I've ever seen who gets criticized for being too good at boxing.
