Trinidad, Mosely, and now Mayweather......they all ducked DLH after they beat him???? Its quite simple, its DLH who is in charge of the money bags. If he'd have wanted these fights, he'd have done whatever it took to get these fighters in the ring after he had lost to them. Its elementary my friends, it is DLH who is in charge of the money, it is he who is not getting these fights made! There is really nothing else to discuss when it relates to this issue!:deal
What could Oscar do in the next fight to win? If you think usin his jab is all then your mistaken.....yes it would have hlped him win the first but i think he stopped throwin it for reasons in that fight Oscar said after the fight he didnt know why he stopped throwing the Jab so it clearlyw asnt stamina because he would have said it...i think he knew Floyd switched up making it harder to land it without catching a straight. Oscar isnt gettin any faster either and in that Forbes fight he did look to have stamina but he didnt have to expend much either with Forbes. Floyd Sr. being in his corner doesnt change much either i mean when was the last time he has trained Floyd? Roger and Sr are different im sure Floyd doesnt fight the same way as Sr. showed him...yes Sr. laid foundation but Floyd has perfected and tweaked the form and not to mention Floyd does fight to a game plan he fights accordingly....so Sr. would have to bark instructions in corner and that would be too much for any fighter and cause confusion and hesitation which produces openings and Floyd would beat him to the punch all night. However some objectivity, i think if Oscar fights on the fly and just uses his talents and physical advantages the fight would be close or he may win but i dont think Oscar comming in with a plan will do the trick simply because Floyd adapts to plans which is why Floyd dominates later rounds after he has voided the others plan....to beat floyd you have to be able to adjust as fast and as quick as he does or your in for a long night.
Offered Tito a guaranteed 30 million two fight deal about 3 years ago. One figh with DLH at 154. Tito declined. Said he wanted Oscar to get paid 8 million and the rest for Trinidad :rofl :rofl :rofl Offered Mosley the biggest pay day of his career BY FAR for a third fight after the Gift Mosley got by the judges, not to mention that ODLH broght back Mosley into the game after his Career started going downhill before their rematch. Instead of paying ODLH back the favor and take the BIGGEST pay day he will ever see, he went on to fight for peanuts.atsch Offered PBF the oppurtunity to become a star. PBF won a SD. Had ODLH pickd up a couple of the rounds (which were all very close) he would have won. Oscar knew what changes to make to pick those two rounds up and Floyd knew it too. Floyd, rather than being the business man he claims to be Mr. Money May, refused the Money for the rematch and retired.:think
You look at everything through DLH rose colored glasses..... You seem not to comprehend what I was getting at in my original post. I'm sure Trinidad, Mosely and Mayweather did'nt give a **** what DLH was offering....... Earth to UliUli, its DLH who lost to all of these fighters.....count'em, he's 0-4 against these guys.....when that happens, then guess what, DLH is no longer in the driver seat to make offers to any of these guys. When fighter A beats fighter B, fighter A is then in the driver seat as far as making financial demands, if fighter B wants to avenge his defeats, he's got to give in to some demands...... Who gives a **** if Mosely was being offered the highest payday for him ever, if for instance, loser DLH was going to make three times as much money at Mosely's expense. The winning fighter has every right to make demands, and thats something that DLH as a rule has never relented to.....there is a reason that DLH has'nt avenged any of his defeats, and its simply called GREED!
Void lost to Oscar in their first fight and he knows it. Criminal judges saved him. Void is now running from Oscar like has been running from Margarito and Cotto. Julio Ceasar Chavez stopped Roger Mayweather two times, really brutal too!!!
I'm sure they did, but as has been proven, they are horrible business men, or they are puppets to a higher force, Don King and Papa in Tito's case, Jin in Mosley's and Ego in Floyd's. Earth to Divac, 2 of those losses are robberies, and the person who generates the money is the person who SHOULD be on the drivers seat. WRONG!!! When fighter A beats fighter B he could possibly make demands with gloves, ring size, location, etc... he could make financial demands but ultimately the person who generates the money should rightfully take the bigger chunk. And Mosley was going to be a millionaire ten times over at DLH's expense. So what? They both win. DLH's has worked harder for his paydays by taking on all and having a better resume. People pay to watch him, not Mosley. Besides Mosley was juiced. The winning fighter can make demands, but financial demands should be reasonable, plain and simple. The person who people pay $50 to watch should take the bigger purse. Btw Oscar will still be ranked higher than Tito, Mosley and Mayweather even without avenging those losses. Oscar offered these three guys by far their biggest pay day.
This part of your post is the only part that needs to be responded too...... ....and proof that you look at it though DLH rose colored glasses. You only see that the fighters mentioned were going to get their biggest paydays, but you fail to take into account that even by DLH relenting too these fighters financial demands, so too was DLH going to get his biggest payday. When all these fighters refused DLH's offers, who the hell did DLH fight in the time frame of these fight falling out, that made him more money than he would have made had DLH relented to Trinidad, Mosely, or Mayweather demands???????? Exactly!!!!! As Trinidad or Mosely did'nt make more money than what DLH offered them in their near future fights, neither did DLH make the money he would have had, had he relented to their financial demands and shared the wealth. An up and coming prospect could have made 500K and beaten Ray Leonard.... .....Ray Leonard could have then offered this prospect who beat him his biggest payday by far ever......Leonard could have doubled this prospects purse and offered him 1 milllion...... Why the hell should this prospect take that offer if there's 10 million in the pot and the loser who was Leonard was going to get 9 million of it???? When the prospect refused the 1 million offer, Leonard's job if he wants to avenge his defeat is to offer him more and share the wealth....... .....and guess what, I guarantee you that Leonard in each of the instances that DLH faced defeat, what have relented to anything it took to have his chance to avenge the defeat. When Leonard lost to Duran, he told his manager Mike Trainer, offer that man whatever it takes, I want him back in the ring!!!!!! Thats what legends are made of! ....and btw, DLH being ranked higher than these guys, we will see when all are retired, but last time I checked the all-time ratings that magazines like Ring Magazine put out, DLH barely eeked in the top 100.......nowhere near the elites like Ali, Duran, Leonard, Chavez, etc.....DLH has made lots of money and been a draw, but there are tons of fighters in these magazines who were never draws and are ranked well above DLH. Being a draw, does'nt make you the best fighter!
Divac, divac, divac. You are oh so wrong. Fact: Oscar De La Hoya made more money fighting Yori Boy Campas than what Trinidad's camp wanted to give De La Hoya for the rematch. Now, one thing is doing what it takes to make the fight, but another thing is having dignity, especially when about 90% of the world believes Trinidad lost the fight. Just because Oscar wants the fight doesn't mean he needs to pull his pants down and get raped. After all he is the one generating the vast majority of the money and he is the one who was robbed in the first place. While Trinidad offered ODLH under 10 mil, Oscar counter offered Trinidad 30 mil and Trinidad's camp still refused. Oscar said okay. went on to make more money fighting lesser guys than Trinidad. When Oscar was robbed to Mosley, he offered a 50/50 with a guarantee 10 mil for Mosley. Mosley rejected the offer. ODLH went on to fight Hopkins in a record breaking fight making way more than what he had made and would have made against Mosley for a third time. Now that PBF retired and opted not to fight DLH, believe me, DLH will make more money in his next big fight than he would have made in the PBF rematch. Wether it's with Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao or Mora, Oscar will make more money than what PBF could have brought with the rematch. Not only did DLH make more money after Trinidad and Mosley with other opponents, and will likely make more money in December against Mrago, Cotto or whoever (so financially he doesn't need Tito, Shane or PBF) but he will still be ranked highe than them, that is a given. The rest of your post is nonsense. DLH didn't need to prove he was better than Tito, most everyone knows he is. And in the eyes of about 80% of the world he is 1-1 with Mosley. Time will be very nice to DLH. He really did beat and fought alot of greats while PBF chose the easiest route after Castillo.
With all due respect, but you just hung yourself with the lies regarding the amount of money and percentages offered Trinidad and Mosely..... Trinidad was offered 30 mil???:rofl :rofl :rofl Mosely 50/50?:rofl :tong :nono These are statements I've never heard from anyone, not even DLH's biggest nutswingers? There is really nothing in your post to respond to unless you can prove that your figures are correct, which I'm more than certain are not. ......and lets not forget that the media was just about split down the line on who won the Trinidad-DLH fight, and even those who thought DLH won did'nt cry robbery because of the way DLH went about turning away and running for the last several rounds. Regarding the Mosely rematch, the media spent more ink writing about HBO's blatant bias of their call of the fight, than covering the fight itself. Sorry my friend, but the print boxing media had more scoring in favor of Mosely than DLH. In the Los Angeles Times, who love DLH, they sent three of their journalist to cover the fight, and all three wrote articles the very next day with scorecards favoring Mosely. You can believe whatever you want, but I'm just laying down some facts here my friend.
Divac ....... "Sorry my friend, but the print boxing media had more scoring in favor of Mosely than DLH." Right you are. 17 out of 28 sportswriters at ringside had Mosley. Even Steve Springer of the LA Times had Mosley and he's a huge DLH sackswinger. He went on to say that if you were at ringside and heard those horrible grunts and groans you heard from Oscar when Mosley landed those body shots you would realize the pain Mosley was inflicting. At ringside Lennox Lewis had Mosley. Mickey Ward had Mosley. Lederman had Mosley. Divac, it's impossible to get through to UliUli. He's so infactuated with Oscar that when those pictures of Oscar dressed like a *** showed up on the internet he said "there's nothing wrong with that. We've all done that one time or another in our lives" Don't think so Uli. Not all of us!
Lance, The official score cards are what they are, so yes that means Razor thin, Just as the Official cards worked in favor of Floyd in his first outting with Castillo, you cant have it both ways man. Floyd eekked out a single point SD Win over De La Hoya, the books will always read that, your opinion as a fan does not mean **** to the officials who scored it ring side, There is a reason that they are judges and you and others like Pimp C and Presscott are not.
