Wtf was up with that? Floyd was using his elbows and forearms all night illegally even after Cortez warned him like in the 3rd round. Cortez did a **** poor job too, he let Floyd get away with elbowing Hatton in the throat and neck all ****in night. Not to mention Floyd pushing Hatton's face with his gloves all the time.
Bottom line, Floyd could have won anyway without the dirty tactics, but instead he did it anyway to win even easier- cuz hes a grade A coward.

Maybe he should have stood there and let Hatton hug him.

LOL, did you even watch the fight well?
If you want real cheating tactics, you should've seen Hatton trying to wrestle and throwing punches behind the head over and over and over till they had to take 1 point off, hell if anything Cortez was kind to his bull**** tactics and looked confused at times. You want to watch pure cheating from start to finish?, Tszyu/Hatton is available to download. Watch it and take your "Floyd is cheating" nonsense with you, if anything Hatton has cheated and hugged WAY more, Floyd retaliating to that is only logical. You need to box to know that.

Floyd used that elbow alot, but he only did so because Hatton kept trying to clinch him. If you look in the 10th, Floyd rocked Hatton, Hatton tried to clinch, Floyd pushed of with the forearm then finished Hatton off. If you fight Floyd, you're going to have to be able to deal with the forearm. Just like if you fight Hatton, you have to be able to deal with clinches, same thing with Holyfield and the headbutts.

Great post. In the Tszyu fight you could even plainly see Hatton nod to Parris when he wanted to break or not.:deal

It's illegal, but hey, if you're not cheating, you're not trying. Everybody bends the rules a little bit.

BTW, I could have swore all the Hattonites agreed there would be no "the ref" as an excuse after Cortez was announced?
