I don't think two pounds are an excuse for any fighter who agrees to a catch weight fight. That includes this fight between Canelo and Floyd or the fight between Pac and Cotto. Both are title fights and Both at a Catch weight.....There are of course fans singing a completely new song all the sudden with Floyd once again contradicting himself.....but I'm just glad they are putting together this fight and not dragging it on Another 2 years.

I've always had the same stance on Pacquiao Cotto

I said it was a good win and Pac's second or 3rd best win. The weight didn't drain Cotto, but it was still a bit of a ho move since Pacquiao fought Oscar at 147 before that.

    My deal is this.

The thing about the Pac/Cotto fight was that Cotto was STRONGLY against it from the beginning. He wasn't comfortable with it so Arum had to toss him a few extra dollars and then basically force his hand. Cotto is still salty about that to this day and it is one of the main reasons he left Top Rank IMO.

Canelo has zero issue with the 2 pounds. And why would he when he can rehydrate up to whatever he wants. So if there are no complaints from either side then why the hell should us spectators be bitching about it.

There was no issue with the catch weight fight for this fight between Floyd and Canelo. ........or the fight between Miguel and Manny. Miguel requested 147......Canelo, 154.....both agreed to a -2 lbs catch weight and agreed to put up their titles. No problems.....in my opinion.

Miguel however did agree with his physician on a safe and reasonable weight of 145 and requested that exact weight in negotiations and Pac accepted. Canelo was told 152.....and he agreed. That's really the only difference.

The weight situation that is all the sudden a hot topic again, will play NO role in the outcome of this fight....just like it had zero to do with how Manny blessed Cotto back in 09.

Because it was a ***** move by Floyd, and you *****s are the biggest hypocrites on ESB. You are not bitching about it cause FLoyd is the one that benefits from the catchweight. Simple as that.:deal

Everybody should be happy about this fight, It's great for boxing and we should be celebrating it, but bottom line, it was a typical *****-move by Floyd and you *****s should stop defending this ****.

    Now, Let's get it on.
