some desperate excuses there, who gives a **** if he took longer it wasn't any less impressive of a victory, he gave Hatton a lesson that he refused to learn, Pacquiao taught him it again, painfully.

I agree Floyd must re-prove himself & beat Pac to be no1 & Pac deserves to be called p4p until that happens, you cant just retire for 19 months & expect everything to stand still.... what I was trying to say was that in reality, Mayweather was the best boxer in the world when he left in dec 07 & if he is still the same, then despite Pac`s achievements enabling him to keep the no1 spot, the actual BEST fighter will still be Mayweather, tho he will have to prove it all over again in the ring.

    :thumbsup

Anyone that can't see the difference in the punch resistance of Hatton now and 2 years ago is blind. The guy can't take a good punch anymore. He has a Glass Jaw.

If you're referring to Manny looking at his best at his career highest weight of 142lbs against DLH, why should he have to come up another 5lbs to 147lbs for PBF?

Manny's the P4P#1 right now, it's PBF who's coming out of retirement for the $$$, why should Manny compromise for PBF?

Why did PBF stipulate the Hatton fight be at 147lbs, when 140lbs was clearly Hatton's best weight? Was Hatton so good something had to be taken away from him?

Pac went up in weight to fight Hattonx. Hatton went up in weight to fight Mayweather. Let's see how we can spin that one. :D

He cherry picked a big money fight based on Roach's personal knowledge of DLH. Remember what Pac weighed in at?

I don't think Hatton ever had a solid beard but it was pretty damn sturdy though.

I don't know what has happened maybe his lifestyle finally caught up with him etc. but I can't remember a fighter that went from being able to take a good shot to having a Glass Jaw as fast as Hatton did.

Now, I know the KO punch was a brutal one but the two punches from the first two knockdowns were not near as hard as the KO punch was.

He looked out on his feet after the first knockdown looking back I don't think he ever recovered from that first knockdown.
