Robert guerrero and diego corrales have one thing in common. They both had/have the unnerving thought of lengthy prison stints as they enter the ring to face mayweather. Mayweather once again has the mental edge in facing a fighter who has his freedom in jeopardy as his cheif focal point weighing heavy on his mind. This is also coincidental in that guerrero is only the 2nd fighter floyd has EVER faced while in there prime. Chico corrales was at his peak when they fought, as is robert guerrero. However, both had/have this nightmare facing them in the biggest fights of there lives. That's one helluva coincidence* *Attn *****s: i'm not suggesting that MM had anything to do w/ either fighters alleged crimes, but stating a fact so don't get your floyd insigniad panties in a wad.
Yes, no doubt it was written in the contract that Robert Guerrero must get arrested in New York weeks out before the fight. The Money Team really have no shame, do they? :-(
Damn that Mayweather for having a mental edge because Robert's not bright enough to know not to **** with NY and guns.
Attn *****: Please read, if you can, ENTIRE post including the disclaimer where it reads ATTN *****S: THIS INCLUDES ******ED POSTERS NAMED EUROBOT!!
Yes i made a mistake. There are 3 fighters Floyd has fought or will when they were in there prime in his entire career. Chico, JLCastillo, and hopefully guerrero, and alot of folks thought floyd lost the 1st castillo fight and nobody can dispute it was razor thin for floyd.
honestly, who the **** goes to the airport with a gun? it doesnt matter which state or country youre in, airports and guns do not mix. guerrero's both ignorant and stupid. i mean, if i wanted to take a gun to another state i would definitely find out how to go about it. i wouldnt just show up with a gun.
There so many things with this thread. Let's start out with this, if possibly going to jail is such a disadvantage, then how much of a disadvantage was Mayweather at in his last fight considering he was scheduled to report to jail less than a month after the fight?
No, I don't bother going too in depth anymore these days unless someone challenges me. What I will say to you is this is an easy fight for Floyd. Guerrero is way too open for the right hand downstairs, and Floyd is a master at throwing this shot against lefties. His right hand downstairs sets up his right hand upstairs. Opponents begin to doubt themselves and hesitate as they don't know where he's aiming the right hand. Then he'll follow up the right with a left hook upstairs. Floyd walks Guerrero down like he did Judah.
1) Guerrero isn't facing any jail time yet. He has yet to appear before court (other than to be told he was released and given the May 14th court date). 2) You say Corrales and Guerrero were the only prime opponents Mayweather faced. Not true... Manfredy, Chavez, JLC, Baldomir, and Ortiz were all at their peak too.
