Exactly. If he gets cracked by Pacquiao like that, it's all over.

lol the excuses pour in already, before the fight people are like mosley is gonna knock mayweather out. The moment mayweather takes those shots and doesnt go down but stays up and dominates the rest of the fight, people go ahead and say shane is old.

Give it up *******s, mayweather but his beast on in that fight against the #1 ranked welterweight in the world. And he passed the chin test with flying colours

Mayweather will dominate Pacquiao in epic fashion. If the bigger man Mosley could only stun, with a huge sweeping overhand right, with all his power behind it, then Pac definitely won't be able to hurt him.

That shot would have dropped 9 out of 10 boxers, the fact that he stayed up and fought it out then came back and dominated shows that he has a better chin than most.

9 out of 10. wow, where do you get your statistics? he had to clinch hard to prevent shane from punching so he could recover. what if he were against the atg welterweights with that chin? he won't wobble, he goes to sleep. and to think he even has the audacity to say he's the best all time.

No way did he fail a chin test, those were some pretty tough shots he took, he almost got knocked down but wasn't...so I'm not sure how you can say he failed. You can say Mosley is old all you want but he still punches pretty damn hard and this was while he was fresh in the 2nd round.

Floyd passed the test. He got caught with two solid rights on the chin and he recovered and dominated from the point on. Thats what great fighters do. Also, dont use Shane's age as an argument. Typically, power is one of the last things to go in a older fighter. They made lose speed and quickness but power stays with them.

That fact that this post has reached this many pages is baffling to me. Yeah, Mayweather got rocked, but he showed great recovered very quickly and went on to dominate.

Mosley didn't get old, he got confused. When Mayweather began pressing the action behind his jab, Mosley couldn't counter. He didn't know what to do and Mayweather took over. It was Cotto all over again. Once his opponent uses a good jab, Mosley can't adjust.

Yeah, maybe Pacquiao would have been more successful if he hits Mayweather like Mosley did, but I don't think Mayweather gives him the chance. Pacquiao eats counter right hands and counter left hooks all night long en route to getting stopped by round 10.

He sure did. Its definite failure considering he recovered and won every round after the second. You sir are boxing royalty.

Doubt it. Power has little relation to age. Tua still punches like a truck and I'm pretty sure Tyson still does. Mosely has considerably greater one-punch power than Pac.

Duran knocked out nobody of note at 147 pounds.

That KO win at 147 over a guy who finished his career 0-8 was such a statement to Duran's punching power at 147. Or that guy who retired with a 16-3 record, what a hall of fame stud he KO'd. Or that other guy that finished with a 11-7 record? Yeah... Duran was crushing big time fighters at 147. :patsch:patsch:roll::roll:

Of course, you would know that if you knew what the **** you were talking about.
