I expected the fight to be one sided in Floyd's favor and it was but I did not expect the fight to be dull. I expected an action fight with a lot of fireworks. Surprised it didn't deliver in that regard. Floyd in my opinion fought like Floyd, smart, accurate, calculating and I knew he would eventually tame Pac. But geez I didn't think it would happen as early as Round 1!

Manny fought like Manny but even more predictable than normal. It was basically too easy for Floyd to figure him out. Maidana in that first fight was spontaneous, wreckless, aggressive, and had no pattern to his attacks. Floyd had to dig into his bag of tricks to counter Maidana. Pac on the other hand is too in love with his left hand, thats always been the case but you got to recognize when you up against a fighter who is going to take that weapon away from you.

Biggest problem of the fight was each guy waiting for the other guy to be first. I know Floyd expected Manny to be first because that's his style but when Pac wasn't throwing Floyd hesitated to attack as well. So you got two fighters standing in the ring waiting for the other to make a move. That was not the fight we fans on both sides expected to see.

In truth I expected Manny to get Gatti'd. I thought Floyd would open up the ****nal in the second half and put on an offensive display. But Pac would not open up and Floyd doesn't throw punches if you dont open up. No rematch necessary, lets move on, Surprisingly I'm actually more interested in seeing Pac's next fight moreso than Floyd. I want to see Pacquiao-Maidana

It was only boring because of how gunshy Pac was, the dude didn't do anything literally.

Maidana pressed the action the first bout, walked through shots and gave us a hell of a fight.

Pacquiao threw less than Floyd. Ffs.

That really just show you how good Floyd is, he must of been very intimidating for Pacquiao. The accurate counters, Manny just was not use to a fighter who could tag him in between his own shots. The funny thing is that Pac****s would often say Marquez will trade with Manny and counter while Manny is punching. Well Floyd did that to but even better than Marquez. He did it so well that Pac did not want to throw punches at all!! This fight as dull as it may have been is really a comprehensive victory, even more so than KO6. Marquez did take punishment before he landed that shot. Floyd was on cruise control.

Yes, it was dull. But to be perfectly honest, Floyd did exactly what I expected him to do, but I thought Pac would throw a lot more combinations than he did, fight off angles and threw way, way more punches.

I don't know if he was injured as he now claims, or whether he was afraid of getting countered, but either way, the fighter who disappointed me in this fight, wasn't Floyd.

I have to agree. It's too late for what-ifs but, if Pac would've fought like Maidana, with Pac's skills I think he would've won the fight.

True, Floyd was impressive, Manny was disappointing. He gave up in my opinion

    I'm going to be honest

I was thinking about The Shawshank Redemption last night during the fight

How one man was fighting through so much injustice, oppression and finally breaks out and enters freedom.

Floyd is now finally free from all the re****ed media/Pac****s.

You fools blame Pac because he was gun shy? Haha, that's only because we all know Floyd is going to run, hold and not do **** himself. We're so used to it that it's always up to the other guy to make it fun. Floyd is a boring runner.

I loved every round of it. It's the blueprint for dealing with a speedy lil lefty who throws combinations. Manny is a tad one dimensional. All he could do was run in with that 3 punch combo. That was rather weak. And Freddie the lil Roach is anything but a great teacher or corner man. I'd say he's very good and conservative. But the Mayweathers just outclass them 10 -1.. The End....

Manny Oh Manny a man of great faith
You tease all your fans as they all take the bait
They scream your prowess so true & so great
That it’ll leave bare in the cupboards of fate

The dream ran its course and you were as light as a feather
Now the day has come for you to meet Mayweather
Money will come and trash talk he’ll spout
As he enters the ring to SMACK YOU ABOUT !

Floyd took all of Pacquiao's aggression and basically nullified it by controlling distance and tempo. The few times he let Pacquiao unload, he simply rolled and moved and/or countered.

The fight played exactly as I've predicted countless times over the years.
