I don`t think Gurrero was an elite level fighter. That being said, PBF was off for a year, incarcerated, and 36 years old. He did an outstanding job of taking a couple of rounds to figure out the `Ghost` After that, he did what `Ex` is so adept at as well, lower his opponents work rate significantly... Excellent display of ring savvy... Great shape as alaways, footwork was sharp, and mixed in good power shots. I am not a huge fan of PBF, but this was a good comeback fight for him...

Same here ..I find it funny that people are trying defend this and at the same time time call this mismatch a master class ..I'm telling you fans of today are just content with what they get fed .

No but I would pay that much to see him school a guy who some people thought could win or at least run Floyd close

Taking price out of the equation, the simple fact is if you think Mayweather is boring (as the op tacitly implies) then you really don't like boxing for what it is and you should probably go to rough bars and wait in a dark corner for something to kick off and watch that instead. Mayweather is a joy to watch in a way that few fighters are. You are literally watching a genius at work.

That's the point. He is clearly a level above and his age hasn't caught up with him yet so they are mismatches. On paper they are ok fights, just like last night, but the TS was asking if they would buy the PPV...it's hard to justify the money. Either way i'll be watching.

Mayweather has been in very few boring fights, so I do enjoy him doing his work.

Yep. If U can't appreciate Mayweather's boxing style maybe U should watch a Tuff Man contest. I can appreciate smart boxing. Mayweather is a master at his craft. Hit and not get hit back is the name of the game. I enjoy watching two brawlers beating the **** out of each other too....but that's not SMART BOXING.

You dont have to pay money, as long as you keep paying attention.

  15. I love watching greatness too... but why **** on warriors getting in there and slugging it out?
