    A. He stalked Victor the majority of the fight
    B. He got off to a ridiculously fast start (given his history).

I think it was the fast start. Once I saw the difference in quickness and the right straight landing in the first, I said to myself, Floyd has figured him out already and Victor's in store for an ass-whipping. He was well on his way of that happening until the headbutt.

    Your thoughts?

Nothing. Floyd fought Floyd's fight. He even threw that same unsuspecting combo on Ortiz like he did to Mosley. Big difference was Shane has a good chin.

A lot of things surprised me. The fast start, the fact that he had Ortiz running from him, the 5 punch combo, and his power. Ortiz was clearly getting hurt by those punches. Of course, we all know the final punch really hurt him.

    With Ortiz?

No risk on Floyd's part at all.

    Come on man.

His punching power...I actually think he hurt Ortiz in the early part of the 3rd round after a combo...

I was impressed that he was able to muscle a far bigger guy on the inside, and that he was backing Ortiz up, regularly.

Like I was telling Sweet Home Bama.... Floyd must push forward or Ortiz will get the better of Mayweather while Mayweather is going back...

I liked Mayweathers rights, and gameplan in pushing Ortiz back, as he cannot fight that way.. must go forward to be a beast.

Would have wished the fight to go the distance and KO him legitimitely or UD to show his real skills like he was doing so, not cheap shot him legally but un sportsmanlike and invite more hate to boxing and him..

For me it was his quick start to the fight, also how he was able to pick ortiz apart so early in the fight, it usually takes floyd 3-4 rounds to find his rhythm.

Also I think this nonsense about floyd struggles with southpaws is finally laid to bed.

Did anyone else notice the body shot early on in the fight which staggered Ortiz? It was a beautiful punch.

He looked good against a good opponent. Shame about the ending though.

At the risk of opening a can of worms I'd bet on that Ortiz to beat any of Pacquiaos welterweight opponents or Marg at 150. Cotto would be the only competitive fight but when you consider how he looked against Clottey Id definitely back Ortiz.

The cheap shot at the end. JK that didn't surprise me at all.
