Walking down Ortiz whenever he felt like it.

That tactic would work even better against a smaller puncher.

PBF's fast start surprised me. Being that he's a naturally slow starter and being off for as long as he was I figured he would come out slow.

for me may was actually stronger than a prime ortiz who was 14 pounds heavier.
    may started fast.
consistently back ortiz up. i feel if ortiz wasnt 14 pounds heavier he would have been ko'd earlier it was matter of time.
Floyd defense so good while being so aggressive against a fighter who can crack.
Floyd inside fighting is sick head movement, angles and crisp punches...
is it just me or is floyd cracking alot harder these days.

Floyd looked quite vulnerable. Being the smaller man and Ortiz was very fast foot and handspeed wise i was impressed with floyds aggressiveness. Would like to see q rematch so ortiz can recieve a proper ass beating

His elusiveness, defense was apparent early and the lead right landing perfectly. Sadly we did get to see another boxing seminar. He is truly the most skillful boxer today, honored to have him in my era.

No, Floyd comes to bang nowadays. That has been observed by a few of us. I think he feels that his defense is so good nowadays that he can just stand in front of you and do whatever he wants to do and there isn't much the opponent can do about it.

The amount of punches he threw, he was surprisingly active.
