STOP trying to make it seem like this fight is gonna be competitive. Goddamn. :nut Ortiz is a quitter. Ortiz drew with Lamont. Ortiz looked GOOD, NOT GREAT, against Berto who was not only exposed as a hypejob, but was also ill-conditioned, gassy, and overconfident. If Ortiz had blew out Berto and utterly dominated his ass, then you MIGHT have a case. For ****'s sake. This fight is a cherrypick/tune-up (pick one). atsch
Mayweather will dominate him but then that would be the case with anyone, as far as opponents go, Ortiz is a fight you can't complain about.
Break it down for me, son. What did ORTIZ show you in the BERTO fight (aside from getting off the campus) that suggests to you that a fight with Floyd Mayweather is a legit one?
I'm embarrassed for the posters who see Ortiz as a legit threat for Floyd. Casuals go with the hype, naturally, but we should know better..
I'm with you on this one bro, he showed nothing in that fight. He could have at least won the WBC title.
spoken like a true hater, pre berto fight i was with you all the way. post berto fight i beg to differ. ortiz will bring it and if anything its a dress rehearsal for a future fight with pacman. ortiz is solid fighter, you cant have it all unless your ray rob or on peds.
:think I don't know I thought this fight was a CYNICAL PLOY by Mayweather, just like all the other stuff he does. (ie OSDT) Personally, considering Ortiz's past weaknesses he needed one or two more fights against high caliber opponents before he should've got in the ring with Mayweather. But money talks and Ortiz jumped at the chance for a payday. I think this is just another young champion being rushed. Mayweather chose Ortiz for a reason. Now, on the other hand it seems Mayweather's plans may have just began to unravel. There's something off about Mayweather psychologically and CONFESSING he liked "The Notebook" doesn't help. It shows a lack of focus... :smoke
