    i have alot more respect for jermain than i will ever have for floyd....

    anyways....

    you admitting that the baldo fight was whakk just makes all your past posts look stupid....you've been claiming that "why " take a backward step .....

    well for 1. it was his highest payday

    and arum never said NO, he just guaranteed 7mill, so if floyd would've whooped margo in good fashion, then he would've gotten alot more in his next fight, that's common sense.....but on the same token, if he would've stunk up the fight how he does most of the time, then his stock would drop at his own fault.........

    against Judah Floyd made 5 million and against Baldo he made 8 million!!!

    The numbers were bad because he was fighting a Boxing Fans recognized champ!!! Although the linear champ the general public did not know who Baldomir was....The numbers would have been worst had he fought Margarito, who was more of a nobody to most casual boxing fans..

    Because of their link to so many rappers many people in America knew who Zab Judah and Mayweather were and were interested in seeing them fight...

    he didnt really make 8mil for the baldo fight, he said 8million and 1 to get under arum's skin, but everybody knows he didnt make that much.......

    Yup, when Goosen (the promoter for FMJ-Baldy) was asked specifically (on btawlk) about the supposed 8 mil, he refused to answer the question.

    Add to it that Goosen got a cut of his next fight (DLH) as part of his deal. . . and Arums 8 mil offer was a one fight deal (no futures). That means Fraud would have been able to keep all the DLH purse, but he chose to pay Goosen a cut in order to ***** out of the Margarito challenge.

    The baldo fight being wak does not mean that it was unnecessary or that it meant nothing.... His performance was weak although brilliant but boring.....
    Baldomir was made to look like a c level fighter.. Thanks to floyd...


    So jermain fighting Cory Spinks, Kassim Ouma, robbing hopkins, and robbing Wright, is worthy of more respect than Mayweathers resume.

    Or is it that KO by pavlik that made you like him

    where did this eze stuff come from? ... PacDbest called me AllBlack? ... I just joined this site -- I didn't know some of the discussions were so hardcore.

    I started the thread about Cotto v Clottey ... its seemed like a match up that could actually happen. Clottey is ranked #3 WBA & #1 IBF ... why can't he match up well with Cotto. I don't understand why people get sooo offended when you voice your opinion - like your opinion doesn't count for nothing if it doesn't agree with someone elses.

    Yeah I think Clottey would give Cotto trouble ... so what ... that wasn't dumb of me to write that ...

    Thats like me saying its dumb for you guys saying that Floyd is running from someone.

    Its okay to disagree at times ... if everyone thought the same there would be no need for this site.

    Totally off topic but it was so funny when Manny Steward was commenting Judah Cotto fight and said "Cotto looks so much stronger, even when he misses, its like a bull against a small animal a dog or something" :rofl
