Can you people honestly tell me that you want to see Floyd run away from Oscar again?

Considering Floyd "won" last time, all the intangibles are going to be decided by Floyd.

What does this mean exactly? Well for one, and most importantly, the ring size is going to be larger than before.

Why is this important, and what does this mean exactly?

Well it means that Floyd will be allowed to stay in the center of the ring more often, will have more room to run, and will inconsequentially make the fight long and actionless.

Oscar is too smart and too tough to get knocked out, and he did an excellent job last time of taking away the angles in which Floyd could effectively land his right hand; thereby, significantly decreasing the chance of a ko, which leads me to the following question.

What person in his right mind would want to see a fight that is devoid of drama?

Fact is, they already fought, and it's likely that the same strategies will be employed. You're not going to see Oscar turn into Chavez overnight. It's just not going to happen.

So as FIGHT fans, not Floyd fans, but FIGHT fans, what is interesting about this fight?

And don't talk to me about business. This isn't about whether or not it's in Floyd's best interest to take this fight. I don't give a **** about the business of the sport.

That's none of my business, and honestly none of yours either. Do you ask your parent's how much money they make? I don't know about yours, but mine would tell me to STFU and probably slap my face.

I mean, does Floyd ****in pay ya'll?

EXACTLY........which brings me to my next point.

    Who should Floyd fight?

Well considering that Floyd is the Welterweight Champion of the world, he should probably fight well......MOTHER ****IN WELTERWEIGHTS!!!!

And who are the top two guys that not only have earned their way to the top of the welterweight division, but have the best chance of beating Floyd?

    Cotto and Williams.

Not only that, but Cotto and Williams would be much more entertaining fights than "The World is Still Waiting," and it would be against WELTERWEIGHTS!

For a guy that claims to be the greatest fighter of all time, he should be willing to take on the most difficult challenges presented to him.

If Cotto is tied up, fine. **** it. Williams doesn't have a fight lined up and would BE MORE THAN WILLING to settle things in the ring with the current pound for pound champ.

So what is it? Are ya'll Floyd fans just scared for your boy or what?

Why the **** do ya'll wanna see a repeat of a fight that already happened?

Don't ya'll know that sequels are usually terrible?

VOTE who you want him to fight!

*And for ya'll PRETENDERS out there that want him to fight DLH again, say why, but DON'T say **** about the BUSINESS reasons.

HE DOESN'T PAY YOU. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!

I want to see him fight Cotto but DLH is where the money is sadly. DLH is still an excellent opponent and probably a harder fight than Cotto who is smaller, less skilled, with a poorer defense and slower with a worse chin.

You said Floyd will call the shots, ie ring size and gloves - YOUR WRONG DLH WILL AGAIN

Floyd vs Oscar is a bogus fight when considering the talent at 147lbs. Anyone who argues different is either a hugger or getting a percentage.

I agree, the guy has all the money in the world and claims that its not about the money. That said he should either now fight for legacy or just retire. Im a PBF fan but i want him to fight the best not fight for the money. i could understand if he didnt have any but the guy throws it out in crowds so its not an issue. Fight Cotto, then williams (if he's still around) and then retire. If he did that and beat them both there would be no doubt that he would go down as a top 10 ATG

Floyd must fight Miguel Cotto, or his legacy may be forver tarnish with people saying he ducked Cotto. Floyd doesn't need Williams IMO.

    Floyd shouldn't be fighting DLH.

Arum won't put Floyd against Cotto until he knows the fight can get every single penny it possibly can, (because I THINK) Cotto has no chance and Arum knows that. Note the reason Arum wouldn't even put Cotto in against Cintron, citing Cintron needs to vacate if he wants to fight Cotto because he has to fill out his mando for Clottey. Yet Arum goes and sets up Margo-Cintron 2. I thought he had to vacate??

Floyd-Cotto is the best fight out there and needs to happen, but I cant blame Floyd for going after the money, when his best opponent's (Cotto) team, wanted the big money rather then the more meaningful fight.

Yes I know Cotto's management makes his choices but he's at that level of calling his own shots. And if he really wants to fight Floyd, he should be calling him out constantly and not saying "I let my management pick". YOUR NOT AN UP AND COMER ANYMORE!

Hopefully Cotto stands up and speaks out, no more hiding behind management.

As for Williams, beating Williams would be huge, based on his sheer style and size alone. Williams is still unproven (like I think Cotto is, but way more unproven) his kick to fame is beating an overrated Margo. A big factor will see how he handles Quitana. If he steamrolls right through him or if he struggles and that will lay out his path.

    As for the biggest fight.

Cotto will fight and beat Gomez.

Margo will most likely beat Cintron.

Cotto-Margo will happen, Cotto most likely winning that fight. Then Cotto has to fill out BOTH his mandos because him and his team love them belts.

That locks Cotto down for the near year and half nearly.

As a boxing fan the one I want to see are Floyd vs Cotto or Floyd vs Williams.
It would be nice to see top welters (1 to 3) vs top welters (1 to 3).

But I wounder what will be Floyd's thought after the second fight with DLH in September, will he say he will retire or will he say "I want to fight Cotto or Williams".

Couldn't have said it better myself. Many sequels are good though, but not ones like this.

:good good points! IMO Cotto should have taken a fight with Cintron and then called out PBF. He has no business fighting Gomez. After a Cintron win, he would have built interest(money) in a fight with PBF

That would be the most interesting thing about the fight, and would make it slightly les unbearable considering they would show Sr. 1/2 of the time, I hope
