He did fairly bad at it towards the end of the face off "checking his game"? It seemed like Cotto was patronizing him when he asked about how many points he needed.

I think Cotto was pleased to see how laxed Mayweather seemed about the whole thing. I personally think he's overlooking Cotto. By a mile.

Really? I don't think he was patronizing Floyd at all. What I saw was Floyd attempting to show who the boss was and who was in control of the situation by asking for his ipad to check the scores. He's in the middle of a face off he's agreed to do... and he checks his bets. It was just a mind **** to try and subtly get under Cotto's skin and attempt to own the situation. Floyd is very good at this. He makes you believe he owns you as well as that he is so good and so much better than you do before you even step into the ring until you actually either believe it, or get so irate it throws you off.

If you watch Cotto during the bet incident he looks mildly irritated for a split second, thinks about it, and doesn't say anything. Instead he just stayed calm and asked Floyd about his bets. He did not rise to the bait. I felt like Floyd respected him for remaining calm because what Floyd did was clearly rude. I don't think Floyd is scared, I don't think Cotto is scared. I think they both realise they have a task ahead of them and both are quietly confident. What I saw was very little animosity. Cotto trying to be patronizing? Nah. He's way too nice. The quiet killer as Floyd said. Pleasant guy, animal in the ring. Floyd knows this and is focussed I believe on the quiet killer part without spending too much energy winding up the nice guy in front of him. I think he knows if he does that Cotto will just laugh at him.

    Owned with a zero?

Na, you pretty much just owned yourself there.

And it's quite fitting that you used zero actually, because it pretty much clarifies your knowledge of boxing.

He is 100% confident as always.

I think anyone who agrees with thread starter is looking for things that are simply not there.

He only uses aggressive trash talking when he feels he needs to, and this isn't someone he needs to trash talk. To me he looked a bit bored, almost uninterested. He also not using mind games for this fight because he respects cotto.

I actually think u are mistaking respect for fear.

Why do you guys do it to yourselves?

This thread is ****. First of all Floyd has respect for Cotto and doesn't need to disrespect the man. If Floyd would have talked **** to him you guys would be calling him an ******* and now that he shows respect you say he fears him. Make up your ****ing minds already. You *******s act like bitter ass females for some reason . I mean I know there are plenty of Trannies from your country but I didn't know you bitches liked boxing.

Mayweather isn't scared of Cotto. Haye was scared cuz he knew that Klitschko had a lot of advantages over him in their fight. Mayweather knows the only advantage that Cotto has is in punching power. Cotto is a good fighter but he aint beating Mayweather.

What's the big deal? Floyd respects Cotto just like he respected JMM (until he drank the ****).
