I think neither. I simply think that Floyd is playing a different type of psychological game with Cotto.

He knows that his usual tactics will not phase Cotto in any way, shape, or form. Hell, not even Mayorga's bs phased Cotto. So either floyd really does have this much respect for Cotto as a fighter or he is going for a more subtle approach to disrespecting Cotto. I agree with many posters on here who believe that how Floyd acted in the face was straight up disrespectful to Cotto.

 

And after he boxes Cotto's sox off you'll say he didn't prove anything. Log off.

Just Floyd being Floyd.

Before every one of his fights a thread like this comes up. The guys motto is 'hard work dedication..' that's the way he is and that's the way he'll be in the lead up to this fight. He don't wanna lose that '0'.

Not sure if this is a joke or not but if this is a legit thread then my say is your completely over scrutinizing his facial expressions. Floyds actions while a bit reserved in my opinion is a direct product of his respect for Cotto. I recall Floyd mentioning in the past after the Mosely fight that he thinks Cotto has a solid skill set and he's a top teir fighter. He said the same for Dawson but I don't recall him mentioning many others that are active currently.
