He's 38 years old and has been fighting for over 19 years professionally. Did you expect him to change and become a brawler?
floyd has not looked himself since canelo, you dont watch him for knockouts or beatdowns (atleast not at his 147 and up days) but you watch for clean crisp accurate counterpunching coming from an ATG defense. since canelo he has not shown me that, he was not crisp and clean in the maidana fights or the berto fight, pac he impressed me but mainly with how he managed to nullify any offense pac wanted to put out. floyd v berto round 6 was entertaining as hell though
**** yeh his sparring is off the charts fun to watch, he always looks crisp and accurate in there constantly dismantling opponents in the pocket and walking them down
Berto is a terrible fight to go out on. The fight looked rehear.sed it was so predictable. He will have to come back one more time to knock that farce off as his last ever cherry picked fight.
You claim to love boxing but make it a point to criticize a certain style and fighter's in ring skillset (an across the board respected skillset by his peers at that). I love boxer punchers, however I respect all styles across the board and will continue to watch all styles. Who sounds more the boxing fan? :huh
yeh thats young floyd days though, you did not need to resort to sparring footage to be entertained, his pro fights were very fun to watch jesus chavez is prob the most entertaining fight i seen him in. that was a war
Who watches something they know they wont like and then makes a thread about how much they didn't like a fight they knew they wouldnt like
Look, you have your opinion, but don't lie to us and say that you only paid for 2 of his fights. FOH lol...
I've never found Maweather boring but I have to admit I zoned out after a few rounds though it was partly due to how bad Berto was.
