All that means is that Showtime bore the brunt of it thanks to Mayweather's guaranteed money. Nowhere near the amount of incentives as usual, but Floyd still would've gotten a fortune if only 40 people bought it.
yeah this fight really put showtime in the red. how much did they make off the pacquiao fight again?
Hate him or love him he was the biggest star in the sport because of people like you. What you don't realize is that you and others like you directly helped make him into the biggest fighter of this era.:deal I'm sure if he could he would thank you and say keep up the good work.:good
Apparently Floyd can hardly do **** on his own without a big helping hand. And to add insult to injury, no one gives a **** he retired. Haha.
They made a **** load of money from the #48 and Canelo fights what are you guys talking about?:rofl PBF was a great investment for them. 6 fights two of which were two of the biggest PPV fights of all time.
Exactly. Showtime probably didn't have Berto on the list of approved opponents but since the Pac fight did so well, they allowed Mayweather to fight Berto. Anyone that thinks Showtime lost money in their contract with Mayweather is seriously deluding themselves.
I never cared for PPV numbers and I suppose I'm a little miffed why any Boxing fans would. What matters is that the fight was a mismatch and provided no excitement or any redeeming qualities whatsoever. So we're all disappointed.
