I'm in vegas the floyd fight weekend & was thinking I'll probably go to the fight if I can get a ticket but with ticket prices now announced & on sale tomorrow I'm struggling to justify paying the prices. With only a very limited no of $350 tix on sale chances are we would have to get the next price up which is $550 + tax + booking fee so probably around $600 or more for a onesided UD, is it really worth it? I would have been going to vegas around that time with or without the fight but I did choose them dates to coinside with the fight but now I'm thinking I may just watch it on the CCTV things they do. What is it like in one of them things? Any good or better just to pay $600 & go in the arena?
it would be worth it if the undercard was good. but after the announcement of no khan v broner id prob give it a miss.
Yeah, these ticket prices are getting nuts. Canelo-Angulo, which I think will be very entertaining, has a nice lineup of prospects and matchups on the undercard, but is not a PPV caliber event has tickets in the first section off the floor going for $600+. Thats insane to me. Meanwhile all of these decent events going on out in Brooklyn, ticket prices have been very friendly to the fans and they've had a good live crowd.
Wait it out , take your cash and be ready to trade on the day of the fight, a pal of mine went to the Floyd Canelo fight last year with USD 600 and got a USD 1000 ticket 6 hours before the fight. Just make sure the tickets are legit and have the best time. Peace.
