hatton was the closest. just turned 31, pac was 30 at the time and won the lineal title at 140 coming from an impressive demolition of malignaggi. cotto was 28 when pac fought him and coming from a good win against clottey but at catchweight. so tell me before ortiz, when has floyd fought a young fighter? also young doesn't necessarily mean better. ortiz might still be too green to fight mayweather at this point of his career.

If its both guys natural weights, then why does it have to be a weight that Marquez looked like **** fighting at? Why not do it at 140? Why not 135 if PAc is the same size as always? For that matter, why didn't they do it when PAc beat David Diaz at 135 for Juans LW world championship?

You know why. Theres one reason why this fight is happening at welterweight. If its a bull**** fight for welterweight Floyd, its a bull**** fight for welterweight pac.

MArquez weighted 142 for Floyd btw. Not 144 or 146.

the fight was in his own hometown.

the berto-ortiz fight was in connecticut.:patsch

you sure he wasn't ducking pacquiao?:yep

either way, Floyd gets to UD a guy who already quit against Maidana.

    Congrats Floyd. Easy Paycheck.

    Hahaha, seriously.

    Keep it up Pacquiao fans

This squirming has made my day

Clottey couldn't beat Ortiz if you gave him a hammer. And Cotto and Margarito aren't much of a step up

is there a filipino word for "diginity"

If Ortiz is an easy fight, then Manny should just retire, as the trash he's been boxing are club fighters by comparison

I would find this less amusing if *******s even bothered watching the bouts.

Ortiz was schooling Maidana when he was pulled. He was 4 rounds up

The truth is a little more boring than the conspiracy theories you guys invent

Floyd offered the deal to Manny, twice, and he rejected it, twice

Floyd offered the same deal to Mosely. He accepted

Floyd offered the same deal to Ortiz. He accepted

Manny fans can't get upset at boxers who want to accept to take on Mayweather
