He went back to the fighter he was at 135, and fought, if he keeps this up the only reasons to hate him will he his personality flaws, which are still many. But he proved me wrong, he fought like a fighter, a man, finally.
Yea Floyd showed what he can do when he wants to do it. I hope this wasn't one of these rare occasions and that we will see more of them
1) At 140, he also fought like a man. At 147, against Judah, he fought like a man. 2) Listen to him in the interview, that is the real Floyd.
PBF ktfo Hatton. 3 rounds later than I predicted, but **** I thought anyone could have seen that coming.
Look, I don't want to make this about his personality, but he is an *******, period. And yes, Ali was an ******* while he was a boxer too, so don't play that card. The alledged beating of women doesn't help. But that is all for another time I really want this to be about the fact that Floyd fought like fighters should fight, like a guy looking to END THE FIGHT. I hate him on a deep level, but he might have changed that if he keeps this up, he didn't slap, he didn't run excessively, he punched hard and with bad intentions. Defensive and strategy are terrific, but truely FIGHTING, man to man, with all your heart is why people pay to watch boxing, and Floyd finally went back to doing that.
Yeah... i agree... if only he'd stick to that "real" floyd 24/7 and stop acting like a dumb ****! that bad ass image doesn't seem to fit him.
Because the real, true meaning of boxing is to try and end the fight, to prove you are the tougher man. Playing tag with gloves bares no resemblace at all to truely fighting, what Floyd did tonight does. Also Floyd has the ability to fight aggresively and not run much risk of real injury, he stands a bigger risk of losing a bad decision by playing tag. Much props to Floyd for coming out and fighting, really, truely, FIGHTING, like a man.
This has proved true tonight. I'm pleased to see that the TRUE Mayweather fans understand that Hatton FORCED Mayweather into putting in such a stunning performance over the latter rounds of that fight.
