This is all pre-fight posturing. Still, the points Floyd made about why people will take credit from him at true. That said, the fight will happen and this is just part of the antics that go on.

Who gave him credit when JMM fight was signed? Please show the link of people saying this was a great challenge to him prior to the fight even taking place. You people are talking as if his fight with JMM was applauded as a great challenge prior to teh fight. IT WASN"T. So how can you say he was discredit when no credit was given when the fight was made.

It is different now. Everyone is calling for this fight. He will; get big props for thsi fight. Who is saying he wouldn't?

First of all Mosley had a chance to fight PBF but he made up an excuse about getting his teeth fixed or something, or have you forgot about that.

That was when Mosely was riding high and was the top dog. PBF was deemed by Mosley to be high risk low reward.

They will never give PBF the credit he deserves. Those that hate him know it in their hearts.

They have hidden reasons why they hate him other than his fighting style. A lot of it has to do with who he is. He's young, rich, gifted and black, very very arrogant and if you don't that plays a big part in the hatred of PBF you're lying.

this floyd interview screams one dynamic rather loudly. that is floyd has lost his biggest bargaining chip going into negotiations.
that's right. no more "my numbers. nobody generates my numbers.". he's lost that amo from his arsinal and now he's left with noir lighting.

Floyd was quoted as saying that no smaller man would beat him. That's his opinion but it doesn't mean that it can't happen. Pac could very well be the man to do it. I can't stand his logic whereby if the fighter lost before then they won't beat him(so I guess with that logic Andre Berto has the only chance?) Floyd's ability, skill, and work ethic are ATG. His attitude to take on the biggest threats out there definitely isn't. He's more Donald Trump than Sugar Ray Robinson. He prefers fights where he knows his opposition doesn't have the tools to take him out of his comfort zone the way Jose Luis Castillo did in their first fight. Ever since that fight this attitude he currently adopted has surfaced.

Money will make Floyd take on Pacquiao. That is also one main reason he will NEVER set foot in the ring against Paul Williams. Paul's size and stylistic attributes will take Floyd out of his comfort zone and for nowhere near the money he wants. At least against Pac, if it's not an easy fight that he can possibly lose then he'll bank tons of money. I think Pac has what it takes to break Floyd out of his current defensive minded pot shotting form and force him to dig deeper. Same with Sugar Shane. But of those three fights Pac offers the most money.

Oh and Floyd, Pac fights whoever his promoters decide. If they say your name, all he does is agree and set to work in training once the contract is signed. He's a little soldier.

wow reading this i think most people are PBF haters to some extent or something, because obviously you didn't listen to what he said he says he will fight pac, and win, all pac has to do is step up to the plate? how is that making excuses, he is merely stating its a "No-win" situation with him for FANS ie ******s posting in this thread, because the exact thing he was talking about you just did . "oh he is suppose to win he is bigger, he needs to fight people in his own weight blah blah" , he is merely saying people will come up with excuses if he wins and if he loses then they'll be dancing in the streets because thats what they want to see they want to see him lose, they don't care who does it, they just think pac has the best chance of making it happen. sorry if you can't stand the guy but seriously listen to what he says, he doesn't sound afraid at all he sounds non-chalant about it, and he is talking about press/fan's views of him not reasons for the fight not to happen, the first part of the interview is him saying he wants to get it on, and he says he won't be a loser because he'll get paid no matter what, so how is that backing out of the fight? he says on 3 seperate occasions he wants to fight the guy..

Let's see, I'm black too so no I have no problem with that about Floyd. I'm only two years younger than him so his age isn't a problem. He has far more wealth than I do or probably ever will have but I don't hold weath against anyone like him who worked hard to earn it. I greatly admire his skill and talent and acknowledge he is one of the best fighters I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing fight. Yes he's very arrogant but so was Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.

I don't hate the man at all but what I do hate is his attitude. He's no less talented or arrogant/coky than Ali or Robinson. Why do I respect Ali and Robinson more? They were willing to take on all worthy comers regardless of the fact that they could leave the ring with a loss. And when they lost they wanted nothing more than to avenge it for redemption. They beat the best in the ring to leave no doubts or unanswered questions as to who was better.

Floyd has shown little willingness to challenge himself in the manner than Ali, Robinson, and countless fellow great fighters have. Not since he fought Castillo. It's not hatin it's the truth. I give him credit for all he has done up to this point, but to consider yourself the greatest and expect others who are objectionably and impartially unbiased to agree, he must strive to fight and beat the best out there and with no excuses.

Bullhit. His arrogance plays a part in it but being you,g gifted, and black has nothing to do with it. Or are you suggesting we are all closet racists?

If Joe Calzaghe starts saying how he is better than SRR, Ali and continued ducking he would get alot of hate too. In fact, he got a lot of hate before he step up his competition...and hes as white as they come.

realy? All I read is that people want this fight to be made. Where are people saying he won't get credit? That's just his insecurity with his own popularity. Also since when has "money "cared about what people think? He's stated that he fights for the money. This will be the biggest payday in his career. So just sign the fight, since PBF doesn't care what people say.
