Patterson had to go 11 rounds to beat Brian London, then turns around and fights Ingo 6 weeks later.

And loses big time to Ingo in 3 rds.

No champion today is fighting championship fights 6 weeks apart if you go 11 rounds in the previous one.

He probably didn't want all that training to go to waste.

Your right, but Floyd needed the work because he had fought since Harris fight what a year &1/2 before. jUST THAT iNGO UPSET HIM.INGO was a lot better then people give him credit for. That right hand of his was BEAUTIFUL, it seemed to come out of nowhere when.'/
; Ingo seemed to be doing nothing, just ask floyd & Machen . In fact if it werent for mandatory 8 count Ingo would have regained title from Floyd!!!:lol::lol:

Brian London was so awful it didn't really count as a defense. It's not like Patterson got in the ring with Monsters like Valdes/Williams or A level boxers Folley/Machen.

    Williams KO 1 London

Why did it take Floyd 11 rds to take London out?

At that time Brian London was a very hard nut to krack. He could be outpointed, but it was the first time ever that he was on the floor.
