sparring is getting physical. We never saw or heard of contact like this happening with Floyd 3-4 years ago. The Cotto fight showed he is getting more and more vulnerable. Does anyone see the decline coming faster than most think?

He had a mark on his face the night he fought Mosley. People thought the punch was from Mosley but it happened in sparring.

It is part of life he has to be slowing down.
Makes me wonder who his sparring partners are??

I think it's expected to get a black eye - he still did get hit in the face 4 years ago lol

He's physically declined, Floyd Sr doesnt make him work as hard physically anymore.

home lookin a little crosseyed though.

on a serious note, a vulnerable floyd is still a p4p fighter. the fact that a black eye is thread-worthy goes to show how much of an atg slickster he happens to be.

Floyd could get KO'd cold and suffer brain damage in sparring tomorrow and still beat down Guerrero when they fight.

Guerrero is just dealing with someone several levels above him, even now. It doesn't matter how old or slowed down Floyd is. I seriously doubt Guerrero can exploit that (Ginger or Trout could, though...)

Another idiot who takes sparring as a professional death match. Welcome to boxing, sparring is where fighters practice different maneuvers and styles and intentionally open up to get hit as they try these different tricks. You need another human being to practice against to know what your opponent will counter your new tricks with.

Is better to shake the rust off in sparring.... hopefully is just rust. Would be bad if he loses to Guerrero.

So what hes been caught in sparring and got a black eye. The way some of you are talking its like he got knocked spark out for 5 minutes. you go swimming you get wet. you box you get hit. Simple
