Floyd Mayweather Jr. somehow lands his own reality-based television show? So far Floyd has been involved in a total of three 24/7 countdown series and I find it hard to believe that there's any material left to showcase the pound-for-pound king in any sort of intriguing or interesting life. We must remember that it took the world's best editors, camera crew, and directors at HBO Sports in order to bring to life what is considered the "Floyd Mayweather Jr." effect. Without HBO there is no Floyd Mayweather while the "Heart and Soul" continues to chug along "Pretty Boy" or not. Reality-based television has quickly become the standard on the tube being that it's cheap to produce and can still be manipulated enough to draw attention to even the most boring or redundant of circumstances. It'll be interesting to see what channel this proposed circus ends up on as anything premium boxing related has for the most part been showcased on the premium networks.
In a recent interview with Dave Skretta for the Associated Press, Mayweather Jr. confirmed there's a Reality TV show in the works. Mayweather Jr. also discussed landing movie roles as well as guest spots on TV sitcoms. When pressed about the Reality TV Show, Mayweather Jr. and his friend and adviser Leonard Ellerbe would not give much details except that that Reality TV program is in early development and will blow your mind. Quoted by the publication, Ellerbe stated in regards to the Reality TV Show featuring Mayweather Jr: "It's going to be huge. The concept is going to blow your mind, it's going to blow your mind."
If the whole Mayweather clan shows, that will be some funny ****. Sometimes he might be over the top, but he's still a funny dude. But damn Floyd I'd rather hear about your next fight.
the show wont be for people liek us... we know everything there pretty much is to know about floyd this reality tv show will be for a different type of audience... plus day to day activities is different from what 24-7 would show
good for him. THat should gain more popularity for boxing as a whole. Love himi or hate him as must of us do he is good for the sport. If onyl he would fight the top guys. Then he would definately go down as a legend.
