Floyd getting KTFO ever

Because anybody can be knocked out.

We haven't seen it tested a lot, but if he does get caught flush by a big, big puncher, who's to say he won't crumble?

 

PBF's chin and toughness are the most underrated thing about him. The man has never been knocked down in a fight, never been stopped or really ever hurt badly in the ring but people always say he would get stooped. PBF's defense is so good that it makes it diffcult to land many fluash shots on him. It's one of the reasons why I laugh when all these people say he would get Koed in all these matchups.

 

Because he hasn't.Although he has been hit flush with some big shots no one person has been good enough to constantly land flush on him. That's a testament to his greatness not a knock:deal

 

Look at the Hatton fight he roughed Hatton up and beat him at his own game.

So you don't give guys like Tommy Hearns any chance of knocking him out? The guy is a very good boxer himself, extremely quick and very powerful with a sharp accurate right hand.

You wouldn't give a guy like Sugar Ray Robinson a chance of stopping him, a guy with the greatest offensive arsenal ever, and again very quick and powerful, he's knocked out guys with iron chins before like Gene Fullmer, sure he doesn't have Floyd's defence, but Robinson is an ATG fighter, with an ATG defence, it's not beyond logic that he could catch Floyd with a punch like that left-hook against Fullmer and leave him tasting the canvas.

You seem to be forgetting Floyd hasn't fought anybody anywhere near the standard of a prime Robinson or prime Hearns.

 

Ok so let's say Hearns was fighting in this era, are you telling me he couldn't KO PBF at 147. Even Tito would've had a good shot at KO'ing PBF.

 

Bringing up the Hatton fight says it all.

I'm a huge Hatton fan, but the guy isn't anywhere near the level of a prime Robinson at 147 or prime Hearns at 147, like I'm saying Floyd never, ever fought anybody near that type of standard, so you can't say he never gets stopped.

 

How is that underrating him? IMO hearns, Robinson, Tito, Duran are all quite capable of KO'ing Floyd.

 

Not saying he can;t be KOed but it won't be as easy as a lot of people like to seem think it would be.
