Floyd gives Emauel Augustus the props he deserves, again!

Look at the fights and imagine if you were Floyd in them. Floyd was huffing and puffing for air against Agusutus and was fighting off the ropes tired and getting clipped a good amount of times to the head.
He'd hit him with crisp combos and he'd still keep coming through the whole fight.

There's plenty of cases when a fight you won could be tougher than a fight you lost.

Yeah, mentally tough. When things mess with your mind you can get a bit more tired. No way it was more physical difficult or taxing then to a fight he lost. This case seems to make less sense considering Augustus is a crafty guy, not a punishing one.

Plenty of cases? I think it comes down to how you define tougher. A more difficult fight should always be the hardest fight. A fight could be tougher because of the punishment you take and if you somehow come from behind and win. Maybe a fight is tougher than one you lose if the one you lose is when you're physically not one hundred percent. Even that seems debatable, though (It's just tougher for different reasons I guess).

Anyway, forget the tougher. You said physically taxing, and that's not the right word. Trickiest, most difficult to figure out, etc. Didn't went to turn this into a semantics debate but alas.

These people need to understand that it's possible to still believe that FMJ lost to Castillo while also acknowledging that Augustus made FMJ fight at Augustus pace and busted FMJ's face all night long. In fact, FMJ couldv'e moved on' to bigger and better things after Castillo 1, but he gave him an immediate rematch and then proceeded to win EASY. I have never seen so many people hold-on for dear life to a fight that happened TEN ****ING YEARS AGO just to hate on FMJ.

you raise a valid point but however you must also consider the beating floyd gave castillo in the rematch

this tells us that mayweathers shoulder or hands were infact injured (im not sure which one off the top of my head)

so perhaps mayweather see's castillo for what he is in the ring against a healthy floyd (second fight)

 

Augustus was the ****! always fun to watch. Too bad he always get rooked on decisions.

 

Castillo wasn't Floyds toughest fight. Augustus landed way cleaner shots on Floyd than Castillo did. Augustus cut Floyd, busted his nose and swelled his eye a little. Fighters know who fought them the toughest. You mother****ers can form you own opinion, but the fighters own words are law.

 

Augustus woulda knocked Pac in the 12th.
