I'm proud of Money for mentioning other names. I thought Money's top 5 would read like this:

    1. Money Mayweather
    2. TBE
    3. PBF
    4. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    5. Ali.

Well in NPO it would be

    Jordan
    Wilt
    Kareem
    Kobe
Actually I have to take back my earlier statement
    Russell

Now the Russell one I can argue and so can everyone else but I think out of respect for being tied for the second most MVP and having the most championships by a wide margin. He was no slouch and he probably would have had better stats had he decided to be a more selfish player. Bird is still the best SF of all time but Lebron is close behind him. Magic is Behind Stockton on the greatest PG of all time list but higher on the greatest of all time list. That being said because he is not even the best at the position of his choice I can't have him as a top 5 player of all time.

As far as Floyd. Robinson lost to Jake Lamotta in his prime, I don't see how he handily beats Floyd. I see floyd winning 115-113 6 out of 10 times. As far as Duran, a healthy floyd at 130 is amazing and at 135 while not having as much power is still a top tier fighter in any era, I see floyd winning 116-112 7 times out of 10 but I see him being finished in 2 of the three loses. Also if floyd loses to any of those guys in the first fight, he 100% wins the rematch.

I disagree. All he did was fight who was in front of him. If he would've took the other naysayer options his resume would look no better and the fights would've been slightly easier (Alla Margarito, or whatever other name they come up with). So the fact he's been around for 19 years is the proof of greatness. Ali was really done after 1967 on the level that we knew was dominant. 70s Ali was just smarter than everyone else and a fraction of the athlete. So I'm down with Floyd given the era and today's circumstances in the fight game.

You ever stop to think about who was put in front of him ,and how it came from selective match making ? Being around 19 yrs is difficult padding your record for most of it is NOT especially when comparing him to the likes of Ali !

You say this but you could provide no better or more dangerous fight options than he took. He was just that much better than everybody and it ****es you off that's all. And if you really knew anything about Floyd, up to around the time he fought Judah, nobody wanted any of this guy. Guys who ducked Floyd were ODLH, Shane Mosley, prince Naseem Hamburger not to mention others like Tzsyu or whatever his name was. PBF was looking for Uncle Roger payback and Arum wouldn't make it happen. Bob Arum had no interest in cherry picking for Floyd . None...

I cannot provide more better options

    Oh brother

Margarito was more dangerous than Baldimor and Judah at the time

He was challenged by Winky Wright

    Sergio Martinez

    And now even Khan

But I can't can't proved better options then the guys he fought have you seen his resume at 140 are you saying the guys he fought at the time were the best options ?

And it doesn't **** me off he's the one that's delusional calling himself the best ever yet never fighting one atg fighter in their prime while also trying to slight the greatest in Ali .,Hey but you can support his re****ed ass claims the rest of the boxing world just laughs at him!

Naysayers hatas you can all agree
Money Mayweathers career really can't be
he beat all your heros handily with ease
but the bitter fight fan he can't seem to appease

Maybe it's time for one to learn
this beautiful sport that let's the most skilled earn
a rep, a body of work that matters
to the annals of boxing history which makes pockets fatter

but once again the time has come
for the tainted and jaded fight fan bum
to bring is unfocused jealous rage
to find fault in himself to engage

Baldomir had 3 belts. so he should fight Magarito ? This is what I mean.... No idea how sport works... Not to mention ODLH was on the radar for 2 years...

Yet it didn't elevate his legacy and fans walked out that fight ..Margarito was much more dangerous than Baldimor !

No I know exactly how the sport works you just chose to defend cherry picking !

Winky Wright and Sergio Martinez. Two middleweights.... a weight lass floyd has never fought at.... floyd struggles to make 154.
And let's not forget amir khan. The guy everyone was saying he was gonna cherry pick to avoid Manny because khan has no chin but now that Manny is beat for some reason khan is credible even though he had a close fight with CHRIS ALGIRI.

Supports my point even more. He fought Canelo at 152 and was eating good that camp.
