They're talking about it right now on First Take.

For some reason, Tyson's name got mentioned and dismissed.

Skip says Floyd's agenda is to discredit Ali to propel himself.

Stephan A. says Floyd believes because of the punishment Ali took and that he (Floyd) will be "ok" once he retires that he's better than Ali.

Based on what? He had half a dozen loses then hadn't beaten anyone of note and was just a mere WBO belt holder.:deal

No we know Baldimor was more dangerous with 9 losses right losing to unknowns right let me guess the lineal title argument right

I like your top 5 NBA list,i'm little bit flip flopping with Kobe sometimes.don't know, but somehow i think he is little bit overrated.amazing talent and overall amazing.but to me the biggest problem is that never Kobe was truly best NBA player in planet other than couple of years.of course it's extremely difficult when there was Shaq,Tim etc and later Lebron.

Yes Robinson Lost, but that also happened to be the only loss in nearly 120 fights, and avenged that loss multiple times.so to me it's little silly to point La Motta.yes,Robinson was not unbeatable.but damn near close to that.i just can't see how naturally smaller Floyd could beat Robinson.maybe 2/10 it's possible.but no way in hell Floyd should be favoured over Robinson.

And Duran was master closing the distance and was very good cutting at the ring.also everytime Floyd has had his biggest problems Castillo,Maidana they were little bit similar, but didn't have anywhere close the skills Duran posesded.also Duran beat SRL who was little bit similar to Floyd just much bigger, and the rematch where SRL was "running" ala Floyd.it was still close before no mas.and also SRL has admitted that he wanted Duran asap.because of the habits.Duran i remember wanted to Postpone the fight because he wasn't yet 100% conditioned.of course it's Duran fault to party and eat so much.but you are in my opinion underrating Duran greatly.

Yep,and it's extremely difficult to top SRR ever.and it's not even about nostalgia.did simply mind blogging thinks.oh boy,if SRR condition would lasted couple of more rounds against Maxim.way past his prime to win LHW crown.i think that would be sealed the deal forever.no matter future fighters do(they virtually had to do the impossible)

Most people think Floyd career started 2007 at JMW against ODLH.they Don't understand that Floyd was 130pounder once.and almost decade earlier champion there.

I heard some crazy thinks that SRL wanted to prove his greatness and moved up to SMW.and then they refuse to understand that SRL moved 21pounds up from WW.and Floyd moved 24pounds up from FW.i bet even if Floyd would move up to SMW and beat Ward.they still would have SRL ahead of Floyd

Baldo was the champ the linear champ at 147.:deal Who in their right mind would face Margo a WBO title holder over the champ? No one that's who.:deal It's not like Margo was some big name or elite he was a no one at the time the fact remains that Baldo was the champ at 147 and PBF did what anyone else in his position would do when given the chance to fight the champ of a division over an unknown.

Ok honestly I don't see either of us budging on the SRR point but the Duran one is a different story.

You brought up the Castillo and MM fights but neither of those are good examples. Against Castillo the first fight was close but it is universally recognized the PBF was injured and when he was 100% healthy he clearly won the Rematch. As for the Maidana fight you are talking about past his prime Floyd who underestimated Maidana. He was also repeatedly fouled by Maidana and most people make the fight out to be closer then it was because it was the closest fight floyd has had in 2 years. Duran can win the first 3-4 rounds but after that it's all Mayweather.

Give me a dam break with arguement everyone and their mother knew he was one of the weakest champs ever !!

And funny you say Margo was not elite

But was Good enough for Paul Williams ,Cotto twice,Clottey,Mosley and Manny to fight but not good enough for Mayweather..But Baldimor was because of the belt he held gtfo :rofl

Keep trying to elevate Baldimor into an elite when he wasn't even elite when he won the title from Judah ..

This.and Margo was never in position to get Floyd fight.was close couple of times but always lost in wrong moment.Williams, then Mosley.i still don't get this Margo think.and Margo is everything that haters accuse.slow plodding Mexican

And i'm as objective as human being can.

Only point Floyd could have fight Margo was between Baldomir and ODLH.But again who the hell goes over WBO titlist(unknown at the time)over lineal champion?it won't make any sense whatsoever.and then the ODLH fight.haters think it would be smarter to pass ODLH fight Margarito.let's laugh for a moment for this stupidity
